SENIOR SPOTLIGHT: MAYA ANDRAE
Our 2026-2027 co-captain Maya Andre has been a core member of canonettes for 4 years. She is a strong dancer, both as a canonette, and as a competitor through Dance With Me By Sisters 3. Maya demonstrates her academic involvement through The National Honors Society, Latin Club, Future Educators Club, Varsity Club, and the Best Buddies Club, and makes an excellent impact on the community through community service and volunteer programs. The highlights of her career as a Big Mac Band performer have been “all of the homecoming football games.” We’re so excited to support Maya as she continues her education at Slippery Rock University for the 3+3 Occupational Therapy and Psychology Program. Maya’s best piece of advice is: “Bond with everyone and work really hard, the friendships can last a lifetime and the efforts will pay off!” We love you, Maya!
