I’m thrilled to share that I’m returning to print magazines at Patron Magazine as style editor, joining the inimitable founder Terri Provencal. Celebrating its 15th anniversary this month, Patron is a beautifully curated publication, with a talented team of contributors, all dedicated to Dallas’ vibrant arts and cultural community—a niche audience I have long respected and feel very much at home within. I look forward to this next editorial chapter bringing style conversations to the pages of Patron Magazine. In this October issue, read Terri’s Q&A with yours truly and my conversation with Dallas designer Khanh Nguyen.

A few days later, still thinking about the first Longchamp Art Festival, held in Paris from September 3 to 6.
More than 30 artists and artistic voices brought together around one theme: Movement. Art, design, dance, music, performances and conversations, almost 3,000 visitors and free admission for everyone.
With Sophie Delafontaine, I had the great pleasure of co-curating this first edition, shaping its artistic vision and creating dialogues between disciplines, generations and audiences, continuing Longchamp’s longstanding relationship with art and artists.
First and foremost, thank you to all the artists and galleries who generously loaned us their works, alongside works from the Longchamp collection:
1024 Architecture, Kenia Almaraz Murillo, Tiffany Bouelle, Elias Crespin, Carlos Cruz-Diez, Caroline Denervaud, Guillaume Grando, Valentin Guillon, Maya Hayuk, Thomas Heatherwick, Caroline Hélain, Patrick Jouin, Yunsoo Kim, Soo Kyoung Lee, Sarah Morris, Yuko Nishikawa, Deborah Ory & Ken Browar, Felipe Pantone, Simone Pheulpin, Damien Poulain, Sébastien Preschoux, Pierre Renart, Xavier Veilhan, Fabienne Verdier and Mengzhi Zheng.
And to our performing artists: Koki Nakano & Marion Barbeau, Carmel Loanga, Marie-Agnès Gillot, Laura Nala, Mattias Mimoun, Cheyenne & Logane Neffah, Mathieu Forget & Victoria Dauberville, We Are One, Célia Kameni, Tiss Rodriguez and Daniel Jouravsky. Thank you all for your trust and generosity.
Thank you Aline Afanoukoé for hosting our opening night, Géraldine Sarratia for her conversation with Sophie, and Laurence Remila, Simone Pheulpin, Loren Richard and Marie-Agnès Gillot for our Movement talk.
Sophie, thank you for your trust and vision. Thank you Jean Cassegrain and the Cassegrain family, Juliette Poupard, Prunelle Blascot, Stéphane Duret and the Longchamp team.
Thank you Lionel Laval, François Chabiron and the Shortcut team, Chef Manon Fleury, BIM, Manifestes, Galerie Joseph, and all the production, technical, mediation and security teams.
Olivia Mayolle, thank you for always having my back.
And to the almost 3,000 people who joined us: thank you.
Always in motion.

Maya Hayuk @mayahayuk was born in the United States to Ukrainian parents who fled war-torn Ukraine in 1944. Eight decades later, their daughter returned to her ancestral homeland by choice.

Over the years, Hayuk has become one of the most prominent American artists of Ukrainian descent. Her work has been featured in museum collections and exhibitions across the US, Canada, France, the Netherlands, Brazil, and Chile. After Russia’s full-scale invasion, her connection with Ukraine grew even deeper.

Yellow Blue journalist Roksana Rublevska shares Maya Hayuk’s story, from growing up in the post-war Ukrainian diaspora to achieving international recognition and rediscovering Ukraine after 2022.
