Let the countdown begin. Happy advent and a new Monday - the 1st of December and the start of getting our homes ready for the festive celebrations. I’m a bit obsessed with red at this time but actually it really is a delicious colour. Adding some red to any interiors or wrapping just says I’m here and adds a little bit of joy, from flowers to fruit furniture and textiles you’ll always find red in Vanil. Hey happy Thursday so busy today with @minniparkerdesigns coming to style and get ready for our pop up on Friday and Saturday. We had such fun yesterday chatting Christmas styling Botanicals golds whites and always pops of colour. Table laying decorations and lots more as we get ready for our late night shopping on the 27th November. It’s the last Thursday and we have a wonderful tradition of starting our Christmas then. It’s going to be magical with fizz a competition and with a discount. All the Woodbridge independents will be opening late and theres the turning on of the Christmas lights. Always a magical day so please put the date in your calendar. We had a lovely catch up with @motherdaughtercreate looking at paintings. The hydrangeas has now sold. ✨ Yesterday was pure magic✨

So many beautiful conversations, familiar faces returning and at one point the shop was full of lovely customers chatting with each other about sustainability and the stories behind our brands. 💬🌍 Our hearts were so full.

And just when we thought the day couldn’t get any better, in walked two of the coolest girls in town — dressed to the nines in their own incredible styles. One had shopped here before and brought her friend along because this is her favourite shop 🧡 (that means everything).

Both costume designers, they had such a deep appreciation for our makers. One tried on @nynyryke’s stunning sky blue handwoven jacket and wide-leg trousers — and honestly, it was like they were made just for her. Of course, both pieces went home with her.

They left with treasures from across our brands:
