Another race report: Manhattan Beach 10k @mb10krun

76th overall.
18th in my age group.

Not bad for a washed up athlete with a torn ACL and foot tendinitis

See you next year. Gunning for a top 10 age group finish

Next Up: Huntington Beach Surf City Marathon

POV: I stopped waiting to feel ready and just started running. 🏃🏻‍♀️💗

10K finished. One step, one breath, one mile at a time.
I’m proud of the woman who kept showing up—even when it was hard. ✨

This is only the beginning. 🏁💕

Some do a #medalmonday Instead, I bring you #tshirttuesday The @mb10krun only awards medals to AG, overall, and certain category top finishers. Instead participants get a finisher shirt AT the finish line. No sponsor logos, featuring art by a local artist… this year by @derekbillings Love this tradition and excited to rock this super soft, stylish tee once it cools off. Until next year (and the big milestone 50th year!)

Congrats to everyone who participated in the 49th Annual MB10k on Saturday! If you earned a medal or forgot to pick up your Finisher Tee, head over to @villagerunner in Manhattan Beach. They’ll have them available until the end of the month. You can also exchange your unworn t-shirt size and style while supplies last.
