As 2025 comes to a close, @ourknottedgun is entering our final year of filming.

In 2026, we’ll complete production on the first docuseries focused on gun violence through the stories of everyday people working to stop it: survivors, organizers, families, and communities who refuse to accept this as normal.

To finish filming, we’re working to raise $60,000. These funds will allow us to wrap production in Michigan, Tennessee, Montana, Washington D.C., New York, Texas, Georgia, and Costa Rica, and bring this series to completion.

Our goal is to release Our Knotted Gun in 2027, reaching a national audience with stories that are urgent, human, and rooted in hope.

🎥 Take a minute to watch this short message from the creators, Scott Boehm and Pete Johnston, along with @kylie.ossege, @mayamanuel_ and @thevillagelansing

If this work resonates with you, you can support the series at one of three donation levels via the link in our bio. All donations are tax-deductible, thanks to our fiscal sponsor @nvp_usa

Even if you’re not in a position to give, sharing this post helps more than you know. Thank you for being part of this moment, and for helping us carry these stories forward. 🤍 #OurKnottedGun #EndGunViolence #GunViolencePrevention

Thank you to @bisnow and @siorglobal for the recognition. We are always proud to serve our clients and are thankful for continued broker and developer/investor partnerships across the US.

We have worked tirelessly to build an industrial real estate practice from the ground up that focuses on the Client first while keeping a pulse on trends and anticipating what’s next in our industry. Give your girls a call if you have a warehouse need in Nashville and beyond. 👊🏼

Welcome to the winners circle :: Another great @siorglobal conference!

Special thanks to all the sponsors who make this conference happen every year and to @thesethuation for graciously introducing us to his great city!

As @stoilas put it, it took all year for us to realize it was a good year for CRE.

See you in Palm Springs!

My hat is off to @ketchsecor and @fearless_greene and to all of the wonderful moms and folks who know that it’s about damn time to do something about the devil that is gun violence @mbalexander @marykjoyce @brooksforstatehouse @louderthangunsfilm @mike_stanfield_jr. @e.waughcooper @jfee79 @maryamfortn And all of my respect and gratitude for our director Doug Pray (who is not on IG!) @nashfilmfest

Quick trip to Nashville to be with my best girl for the premiere of @louderthangunsfilm at @nashfilmfest. @ketchsecor and @fearless_greene did an unbelievable job modeling how both sides of our country can come together and find common ground on such a divisive topic. It wrecked me, empowered me, and left me with so much hope.

Everyone needs to see this film. Stay tuned for info on how to do so. In the meantime, watch the trailer at the link in my bio. I can’t wait for you to see it.

Melissa, you are a FORCE and I’m so proud of you. You show up day after day for the mire of this work. Our country’s children have a bright future, thanks to your slog. Love you with all my heart 🤍

‘Louder Than Guns’ Premieres At Nashville Film Festival

‘Louder Than Guns’, a music documentary about gun violence and gun rights in America written by Musician Ketch Secor from Old Crow Medicine Show and Journalist David Greene, Directed by Doug Pray premiered today at Regal Green Hills during the 2025 @nashfilmfest. The film begins with a social media video post by Ketch Secor taken on March 27, 2023, the day of the Covenant School shooting and takes us on tour with Old Crow Medicine Show as Secor, Journalist David Greene, and members of the Old Crow talk to groups of individuals in Nashville, Chicago, Owensville, Ohio and Missoula, Montana. Individuals from both sides of the isle, gun owners and people that do not own guns, and victims of gun violence as they gather to talk about gun violence and gun rights, and to listen to each other. Though difficult to watch at times, especially when it hits close to home, such as when Covenant School parents Mary K. Joyce, Melissa Alexander, and Jason Rowlett talked about their children’s experiences from the shooting, or when TN State Rep. Shaundelle Brooks discusses losing her son Akilah Dasilva in the 2018 Waffle House shooting, it is an important film and shows how talking face to face about difficult issues is the first step towards understanding and change.
