💥 Our fearless Tori caught up with @mbcbrews , who attended October Surprise.

Over the next few weeks, @flare.usa will be maintaining our 24/7 occupation right near the Capitol. We have room for 3,000 to gather and we'd love to see you.

We will continue leading constituents into Congress and protesting in white Christian Nationalist spaces.

🔗 flareusa.org/OctoberSurprise to see details on how to keep the pressure on Congress. You can show up locally - THEY ARE HOME!

🔗 flareusa.org/remove to sign a demand letter that we will print and hand deliver to your members of Congress.

It's time to get LOUD and inconvenient.

The Republican Party wanted ICE to terrorize Minnesota and it was deadly. Never forget that the cruelty is the point.

I’m gonna be honest with you guys.

I’m struggling.

Everything just feels fucking horrible. 😒

Death.
Pain.
Injustice.
Sickness.

You know the list:

Unnecessary war.
Violence.
Diarrhea.
Prices.
Hatred.
AI.

And perhaps the most unforgivable development of all:

Hayley played “Airplanes” last night for the first time in 16 YEARS — but not at either of the two shows I saw.

WHAT. THE. FUCK. 😭😂

I tease. It’s how I cope. 😔

Because underneath the jokes, I want you to know something:

I see you.

I see the people who are hurting.

I see the people who are exhausted.

I see the people who are scared, pissed off, lonely, overwhelmed or just completely fucking done.

And I love you.

Even the people I profoundly disagree with. I still believe people can change. I still believe people can listen. I still believe people can choose something different tomorrow than they chose yesterday. I see you, Matt

I see the people who have changed their minds.

I see the people who don’t want to pick sides.

And I see the people who have been silent because speaking up is uncomfortable.

But silence is a choice too.

So speak.

Register to vote. Pay attention. Read. Question everything — including the people you agree with. Defend a free press. Defend each other. And when you believe something is wrong, say so.

The last decade is already written.

What we do next isn’t.

And through all of this ugliness, I’m going to keep looking for the good.

People. Music. Laughter. Community.

Pickleball.

Because sometimes surviving the gigantic shit means finding one tiny thing that makes you want to get up tomorrow.

For me?

Pickleball at 7 AM.

I fucking need it. ❤️
