POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I have watched this video more times than I should admit. From shooting to editing, it has been a repeat watch, and I think it is one of my favourite videos as a video editor (I have been having too many faves recently 🥹)

Hearing people talk about their experience at Mic & Mind gatherings, both offline and online, makes me even more intentional about the kind of space we are building.

This workshop gave me a lot to think about, and I am really excited about doing more with @micandmind_

Thank you to the facilitators who collaborated with us for this workshop. The brilliant @myfriendscallmebigenyi, the powerhouse @mcgrathlaisa and the @themysterymailsociety who joined us last minute but was an exciting addition.

And thank you to @socialiaisestudios for such a beautiful space

What ideas can you come up with in three minutes if you don’t stop to ask whether they’re good?

We tried this at our first community workshop, and it has stayed with us.

It’s one thing to design , it’s another to have your process mapped out so it is then replicable.

Genius I have come to understand often is found in places you least expect it. And I have found we all have a measure of it in one or more parts of our life.

You business is built on people .
Being able to provide them a product or service
Being able to solve a problem or make their life easier
Being able to offer them a channel for expression

People are gold to your business
Money is just an outcome of these transactions.
It’s important you relate with your clients from a place of conscious service and not Merle money motivation.

Yesterday, we hosted our first Mic & Mind community workshop, and it felt surreal watching it all come to life.

A big thank you to everyone who spent Friday afternoon with us, to @mcgrathlaisa and @myfriendscallmebigenyi for sharing their knowledge and guiding us through the sessions, and to @socialiaisestudios for giving us the space to make it happen.

We also had @themysterymailsociety join us for a little mystery-solving activity that got everyone following clues and piecing a story together.

From exploring creative frameworks to making mood boards and talking about folklore and the patterns that show up in our stories, we got to learn and put some of what we learnt into practice.

It was a beautiful afternoon, and we are grateful to everyone who helped make it happen.

Student Testimonials mean so much to us.
We give our absolute best to every interaction and are blessed to witness our students transform from novices to masters of a given skill.

Consistency will trump talent
Continuous practice and someday you’ll master the craft.
One effort , one exercise at a time.
That’s all it takes
