They've ditched the iPad and linked up with local shredder @joelorocknrollo1 performing under the seasonal moniker "Bogan Moths!" 🎸πŸ”₯πŸ¦‹ . Despite having just one rehearsal so far, these sexy fathers have pumped out 3 original songs already, with another few jams under the belt, they'll no doubt have a full album ready for this weekend's Nepal Flood Fundraiser #SundaySession? πŸ˜…πŸ”οΈπŸ‡³πŸ‡΅ . I’m a big fan of horses and of smoke, so of course I’m gonna come and play some tunes this Sunday at Braidwood’s finest equine exhaust establishment, @smokey_horse! Sadly my large-hooved duet partner Leftie won’t be there, but stacks of other people will, so collabs a-plenty. And it’s for a very good cause so come along, sing loud and dig deep! @smokey_horse It’s been one month since our beloved homeland of #Nepal was devastated by unprecedented flash flooding that tore through people’s lives in an instant, affecting people from all around the globe and devastating local communities... πŸ˜’πŸ’”β˜ οΈ . We’ll be raising funds at our #SundaySession next weekend in true #SmokeyHorse style, with good vibes, music, food and drinks!!! 😍πŸ”₯🎸πŸ₯ŸπŸ›πŸŽ·πŸ₯πŸͺ‡ . If you’d like to donate something towards our silent auction or raffle please reach out, we’ve already had some amazing contributions from Charleys Forest Silver, Anara | Chai Spiced Liqueur, BentSpoke Brewing Co. and π‚πšπ©π’ππšπ₯ 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐰𝐒𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐨.!!! πŸ₯Ήβ™₯οΈπŸ™ . More details to come, let’s do this folks... πŸ˜ŽπŸ‡³πŸ‡΅βœŠ . #GiddyUp πŸ€ πŸŽπŸ’¨ . JaiNepal Super excited to announce that Oz rock royalty and well known HorseLover Lindsay β€œThe Doctor” McDougall will be performing at next week’s SundaySession fundraiser for Nepal!!! 😍πŸ”₯🀘 . The long time triple j radio host and key member of seminal punk band Frenzal Rhomb will be playing a solo set and is also keen to get amongst some epic jams with the locals... 😎🎸🎢 . Sweet Tooth is heading to @euphratesgathering 🍬 Dishing up a double serving of Karuna with @djkaarj @mckaruna plus @suuuga.dj on the decks Saturday 22nd @circusevents_cbr 🍭 Catch us laying down a selection of sweet sounds from Middle Eastern downtempo through to drum & bass. 3:50–4:40 PM β€” KAARJ Middle Eastern Downtempo 11:50 PM–12:40 AM β€” SUGA Drum & Bass 12:40–1:30 AM β€” KARUNA Drum & Bass β€” Vinyl Set Come find us on the dance floor ✨ Tickets available with multiple options from half day to full day and discounts for group tickets 🎫 Ticket link in bio 🎫🍭🍨 @djkaarj is old. And tired. But purveying world grooves gives her life! As a DJ selecta πŸ‘‘ her quirky diverse collection can span anything from Libyan reggae, Dominican dancehall to Arab rap and French afrohouse. Kaarj’s sets are a jubilee of music, love and peace <3 @mckaruna has been rinsing out the amens and terrorising microphones all across the Canberra region from his hometown base in Braidwood for more than 20 years now. Most recently performing with local legend DJ Kaos at Hopscotch in support of UK greats Dillinja and Grooverider. A venue owner, promoter, producer, dj and self diagnosed vinyl junkie, he’s amassed a huge collection of wax during this time, from classic anthems and rare cuts to freshly pressed cutting edge underground sounds, his set will trace a brief history of iconic DNB/jungle mixed with some freshly pressed UK imports! Expect swift flawless mixes, heavyweight selections, plus a few bars on the mic no doubt. @suuuga.dj is a genre-hopping selector with a taste for contrast, moving fluidly between moods, tempos and styles with an instinctive feel for the room. Drawing from her background in art and design, her sets are rooted in atmosphere, emotion and storytelling, with a focus on texture, rhythm and the unexpected. For Euphrates, Suga brings a little Sweet Tooth flavour to the dancefloor, blending her love of global sounds with the rolling basslines and intricate rhythms of drum & bass. Expect Middle Eastern influence, hypnotic percussion, deep grooves and a darker, high-energy edge, a sweet meeting of worlds, with plenty of bite.
