A hell of a good time celebrating and supporting Casting Directors at the Artios Awards last night. It was great to catch up with so many friends - old and new, after years of pandemic, at-home tapes and the like. There’s just something about being in a room together, celebrating wins and cheering each other on. Special thanks to the amazing presenters and great conversations of drinks and laughs. F YEAH, CASTING! 🙌

And great job hosting, @harveyguillen - good seeing ya. ❤️

We counted because everyone counts.
Regardless of anything else, it's an honor to be part of a community that takes the time to center our neighbors experiencing homelessness. Huge shout out to everyone who stayed up late and took part in this year's LAHSA Homeless Count. Special thanks to @jszlasa for inviting me to co-host the Atwater-Silverlake site at the ever wonderful @slakechurch!

SELAH RUNS ON COMMUNITY & YOU'RE PART OF OURS!

Incredible things happen when a community comes together to care for itself. This #GivingTuesday, donate at the link in bio to help us build a community where every neighbor thrives.

OUR VOLUNTEERS MAKE IT HAPPEN!
🤝 In the lead-up to #GivingTuesday, we’re celebrating the work of volunteers who raise money and resources for our programs and participants all year long. From Tee, Kendall, and Sarah organizing a hygiene kit fundraiser with @agoodusedbook and Raquel procuring reusable water bottles from @hypefitness_la's lost-and-found to Leslie activating her friends and coworkers to purchase hygiene supplies, our organizers are determined and creative. 🤝

**WHAT IS SELAH?**
Our volunteer-powered programs serve neighbors 6-8 times every single week through outreach and drop-in programs where we provide...

🍞 immediate material aid, like food, clothing and hygiene products
🧡 a community space free of harassment
📋 document assistance, mail access, case management reconnection and more support navigating complex public resources

To ensure our growing volunteer base can effectively support the rapidly increasing needs of our neighbors, we need funds to train, supply, and generally harness the powerful energy of our community. Your contribution will help us provide more resources to more neighbors with more educated volunteers on the ground. Donate at the link in bio!
