Back at the tail end of the summer, I had the absolutely pleasure of seeing this stunning 70s Les Paul Custom. A cool guitar as is, right? but this one means a lot to me as it was my Dad's old Les Paul! It is now owned and enjoyed by the brilliant Neil of @bluenationmusic , whom I admire greatly, and I love seeing him using it on ever growing stages across the country. It came to me for a little health check before their latest run of headline shows, and what a joy it is to be able to see this guitar. Knowing it's close to home history, and the awesome journey it's on with Neil, this thing is a special one.

I also thought I hadn't taken a photo of it when it was here, but found this on a memory card today, winner.

The Harrier started with one idea. To create a completely new shape that still felt like it belonged in the Molyneaux Guitars line-up.

Something unique, but with the same retro-inspired feel that runs through everything I build.

As the build came together, I started to notice all the little influences that had found their way into the design. Shapes, details and ideas picked up over years of being obsessed with guitars.

Little subconscious tips of the hat to the things that inspired me, brought together to create something new.

What here's another build I recently completed..

Medium aged Shoreline gold over swamp ash body, @mcnellypickups T bars (Tele size P90 pickups), 500k pots, 0.22uf cap with 50s wiring, oak grigsby switch and electro socket input. With a Nitro amber sprayed and aged three ply pickguard.

Team that up with @g_gotoh510 vapour aged nickel hardware, ashtray bridge with in-tune brass saddles,

@allpartsuk V neck, which was softened and rolled, stained and sprayed, reshot to 9.5 radius and refretted with medium jumbo frets, bone nut, brass neck inserts and stainless steel bolts and elixir 10-46s.

It's gooden and I think that's all I've got to say about that...

If you want to play or hear this and the Cherry Bomb (candy apple S type) head on down to @northlainemusic
In Brighton...

Enter @deangordonguitars! These are by far the most comfortable, most ergonomic and tonally unreal sounding guitars I’ve ever played. Everyone, do yourselves a favor and try one! There is a headless variant going around with @boutiqueguitarshowcase, please try Dean’s. Absolute masterpieces. Big thanks to @axepalace for helping bring the purple one home! Got one more on the way that will be a big head turner! #ergonomicguitar #modernmetal #guitar #guitarist #guitarsofinstagram

It is always interesting to see what has been done in the past... so much goes somehow lost or unnoticed, just because it had to be delivered quickly, or... What's next? The rushing through daily business, which leaves literally no time to reconsider or just meditate about it. As I was browsing through my hard disk today—AND because I had a new idea… I was looking up all the Firestar Ellipse versions we did. This #deimelfirestar160 is actually a left-hand one, which I mirrored today to make it more mass-convenient. We are considering a limited edition for @woodwirevolts in 2027, and if you have any desires or ideas you'd like us to make for the US market, please let us know soon! :-) #woodwirevolts2027 #deimelguitarworks #deimelfirestarellipse #simplicity #pure #reduced #tothemax #guitars

I had the pleasure of catching up with @__jamesmarino__ this weekend while he’s in the UK on tour with @hilaryduff .

He was kind enough to take the new Harrier for a little test drive. There are a couple of small tweaks from the first prototype, but they’re changes that make sense and are pretty much unnoticeable when compared to the original.

I have to say, the @mcnellypickups Wild Range pickups sound incredible to me, especially as someone who’s usually more of a single-coil guy.

Anyway, thanks for having me, James! It was awesome to see the show and watch the whole band doing their thing.

Harrier No.2 is almost ready to go. Just final setup bits and wiring.
A couple of small things have changed from the initial prototype. But nothing drastic.
This one is fitted with @mcnellypickups Wild Range Humbuckers. I’ve had these pickups for ages and haven’t found the build to put them into until this one. And I think they look ace!
Everything else is pretty much as you’d expect. 3-way toggle switch, 2 volumes and a tone, @hipshotproducts Hardtail bridge, @seveneight.workshop pickguards and a burgundy mist finish from @rothkoandfrost .
I really like this one!
