We love seeing previous exhibition participants thrive!

Eric McRay was one of the participating artists in the 2025 NC Artists Exhibition. WALTER Magazine published a beautiful article entitled "Art & Enterprise: Painter and Collage Artist Eric McRay" in the January 2026 edition.

In the article, Colony Little writes, "In many respects, his newer collaged constructions are an amalgam of the painting and illustration techniques McRay has experimented with over the years. 'A former art dealer of mine told me, Eric, when I look at this work, I can see everything you ever produced,' McRay says."

It was a rainy night celebrating my birthday with the family at the JC Raulston Arboretum's Moonlight in the Garden.

"This isn't your typical lighting event. Moonlight in the Garden is meticulously designed to showcase our internationally acclaimed garden and all its splendor. You think our collection is spectacular by day? Wait until you see it under the cover of darkness artfully lit on a crisp November evening. It's a magical experience you don't want to miss.

Bring your family and friends to stroll through the garden, listen to a live band, grab a bite to eat from a food truck, roast a marshmallow or two at the fire pits, and sip a cup of hot apple cider, all while showing your support for the JC Raulston Arboretum. Moonlight in the Garden helps us raise the funds necessary to keep our gates open and our admission free 365 days a year. This is your only chance to see the garden at night. Come join us.

Be inspired. Be delighted. Be in awe of the beauty of a nighttime garden."

Time well spent with family at the Bugfest at the NC Museum of Natural Sciences! We thoroughly enjoyed lunch, the displays, exhibitors, marketplace vendors, live music, and an actual insect snack. I'm so glad we made it a part of our weekend!

An impromptu double date night invitation from our dear friends, Russell & DeeDee Allen. We attended the live performance of the musical, "The Prodigals". Set in the 1980s, it's the retelling of the Biblical story of the Prodigal Son, with a twist! A performance definitely worth attending with your family and friends. Don't miss out.
