UK Contemporary Art Fair 19/20/21/22 November 2026

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I’m thrilled to announce that I’ll be exhibiting at The Manchester Contemporary next month with Bury Art Museum (who added one of my paintings into their permanent collection earlier this year). 🙏❤️

Dedicated to showcasing critically engaged contemporary art, TMC feels like a wonderful opportunity to share my Gig Pose series of paintings with a wider audience.

So if you’re coming along to the @mcrartfair and @mcrcontemporary, please pop by and say hi! 👋 I’ll be on @bury_art_museum’s stand 115 at Manchester Central, 19–22 November, alongside the super talented @mikeakelly.work

As part of our presentation @britishartfair @saatchi_gallery we have begun to collect flowers from @waste_to_plate in order to cover John Robinsons shed which has being transported from his mothers allotment in Worcester.

We are using a fantastic new product from SIDEAU called Agro-Wool which is 100% biodegradable and allows us to wrap the shed in sheet form and attach the flowers.

Looking forward to showing you the flower head paintings!
See you Thursday 24th onwards!

We’re really pleased to be working with Elliott Flanagan towards a solo presentation with Arcade at The Manchester Contemporary this November.

Elliott is developing Divine Youth, a project growing out of memory, class, place, working-class youth culture, masculinity, escape, music, travel and self-invention.

There’s a great interview with Elliott in Corridor8, reflecting on home, class and representation.

Getting on with my ‘Edge of the City’ series for the exhibition in December. The gallery curator is visiting the studio tomorrow to help with the first selection. I have over 50 paintings so far from 2018 in this collection. It will be my biggest solo exhibition I’ve had and looking at the state of the art world as it is it will probably be my last of its kind. Hope you can visit Salford art gallery to see it?

Shhh! I’m So So Happy to share that one of my artworks has been selected for this year’s War Child presents Secret 7” exhibition and auction.
Secret 7” is a unique project bringing together 700 artists, each creating original artwork for anonymously packaged 7-inch records. Every sleeve is exhibited without revealing the artist’s identity until after it’s purchased, making the focus entirely about connecting with the artwork itself.

It’s a privilege to have my work included in support of such an important cause, helping raise funds for War Child and its work protecting, educating and standing up for children affected by conflict.

If you’re visiting the exhibition, perhaps you’ll spot my piece.

Happy World Embroidery Day! Here is a selection of some of my favourite embroidered projects and commissions through @slowhandcreativestudio 💖 and a lot of gratitude towards everyone who has supported my journey to date!

I'd originally written a caption for every image, as each has it's own story, but Instagram wiped half as I was editing 😭 these will be slowly added to my new website as their stories deserve to be shared 🫶✨ #worldembroideryday @orbiscommunity
