Our first pop-up is officially in the books! ✅

We were so busy at MAD Palooza that we didn’t get one picture or video! 😂 It was an evening full of learning, connecting, and serving dancers and their families.

A special thank-you to @mdacademydance for inviting us to be part of such a wonderful event.

What better way to celebrate National Dance Day than by supporting our local dance community? Thank you to everyone who stopped by, shopped, placed an order, or showed us love.

First pop-up complete, and definitely not our last! 🤎✨

This summer reminded me why I teach. 🖤

Different cities. Different studios. Different dancers. Same purpose.

I had the opportunity to spend my summer in rooms full of artists willing to move, question, investigate, sweat, laugh, fail, try again, and GROW. Every class, intensive, conversation, and creative process gave something back to me too.

Teaching will always be more than steps. It’s about sharing what was poured into me, making space for the next generation, and continuing to learn alongside them.

Grateful for every organization that trusted me, every educator I shared space with, and every dancer who showed up ready to WORK.

“Full Throttle” 🏁
.
.

For the past nine months, I’ve had the pleasure of pouring into such talented young women who aspire for something greater. Your hunger and drive never went unnoticed, and in many ways, you brought that same fire back to me.

You all pushed me out of my comfort zone and into the fire, challenging me to create something worth sharing. Your passion for what you love inspired me to dig deeper as a teacher while pushing you in the same ways I was once pushed.

My college training definitely came out in my teaching, and I hope you absorbed every lesson, every correction, and every bit of knowledge I poured into you. My hope is that you’ll continue to carry those lessons with you as you grow.

Keep the fire. Keep the drive. And never forget why you fell in love with this art form in the first place. Dance is a gift, and I hope you continue to honor it every step of the way. 💚

✨ Contemporary ✨

It was great working with @alomuljo
This dance piece was very creative. I enjoyed telling the unique story of this piece. It was so much fun using slow steps/movements to express various feelings without using words #summerseason☀️
