Happy Monday friends! Taking today to answer another Q/A!

Q: Do you ever have cheat days? 🙃

A: Absolutely! Although I wouldn’t necessarily consider them cheat days since my diet is flexible. Yes, I try to track my protein intake (at least 1 g per pound of how much I weigh) but otherwise I’m pretty free to eat whatever I want.

Usually during the weekends I’ll give myself the freedom to eat anything I want lo and even some days during the week days. I genuinely enjoy trying new foods so I don’t restrict myself. However I do love having meals prepared that way I can just pop it in the microwave during lunch or dinner. Life’s too short to restrict yourself everyday, even the best competitors in respective sports have their cheat days! 💛 Ive said this before and I’ll say it again - How can you live your life to the fullest if you’re always hungry?! 😂

How To Recognize When You’re Having a Panic Attack

I guess to follow up from my last post - I’ve been both fortunate and unfortunate enough to experience panic attacks every once in a while and it’s well.. terrifying. But I’m very thankful to finally understand what’s happening and how to deal with it so I wanted to share with anyone who’s been feeling extra anxious recently:

A panic attack can feel like:
- Tightness in your chest
- Pounding/rapid heart rate
- Shallow breathe
- Difficulty breathing
- Rapid thoughts
- Feelings of despair
- Numbness in your arms and legs
- Pins and needles
- Dizziness

What to do if you’re having one:
1. Acknowledge you’re having a panic attack - it’s going to be okay I promise ❤️
2. Focus on breathing. Think about slowing your breathe - I count my breathes to 10 slowly
3. Close your eyes and put your hand on your stomach and feel yourself breathing
4. Grab some water near you
5. Call someone whom you feel safe with to help you count slowly

You’re not alone 💕
