It was so cool playing against some of the best players in the city! 🔥 We competed, made new friends, and learned a lot.

It was also cool walking into the gym and people knowing we were from @meangreenselect ! 💚 That meant a lot because we got to represent our brothers!

Thank you to all the coaches who helped us, gave us feedback, and pushed us to get better. 🙏🏾 @kingjawz @f.o.e_deecb4 @belite413 @houstonhoopnationfamilyaau and the others.

It’s crazy what a year can do.

I think back to Spring 2025 and then look at where Aiden is today… and I can’t help but smile. The growth hasn’t just been in his game. It’s been in his confidence, his maturity, how he responds to coaching and how he carries himself.

I have to give a huge shoutout to the coaches at Mean Green Basketball. Thank y’all for pouring into these kids the way you do. You don’t just teach basketball. You challenge them, encourage them, hold them accountable, and help shape young men. As a parent, that means more than you’ll ever know.

As for A Money aka Cookie Monster… man, I’m so proud of you.

At just 10 years old, you stepped into an 11U season and never backed down. And truthfully, I never had a doubt in my mind that you’d rise to the occasion when you were asked to play up. Every practice, every game, every lesson… you embraced it. You earned every bit of this growth.

These highlights are just a glimpse of the work he’s been putting in.

Now it’s back to the lab. The work doesn’t stop. 🏀💚

Sometimes life slows down just enough for you to reflect… 💚

I just want to publicly say thank you to my family.

My family sacrifices so much because of the time I pour into serving others. There are countless hours that could be spent with them, yet they continue to love, support, and encourage me anyway.

💚 To my wife, @christinab_green — the pilot of our plane.

Most people have no idea what happens behind the scenes to make our programs run with excellence. The long hours, the details, the sacrifices, the pressure… you carry so much that no one ever sees.

Even if others don’t notice, I do. I see it all firsthand, and I’m beyond grateful for everything you do for our family and for Mean Green Select.

🏀 To my boys…

I know there are moments when I’m Coach instead of Dad. I know there are hours I spend pouring into other kids when most parents only have to focus on their own.

Thank you for sharing me.

My prayer is that as you grow older, you’ll understand the importance of sowing into others. The impact we leave isn’t just inside our home—it’s also in the lives we’re called to serve.

You dudes absolutely balled out this season. I know I’m tough on you, and sometimes it probably feels like I’m your biggest critic, but the truth is… I’m also your biggest fan.

You didn’t miss a minute this season.

Every workout. Every practice. Every tournament.

While most kids were at home playing with toys, you were right there in the gym with us every step of the way.

I love you, little man.

No matter what challenges come, or how people may react, this is one of my biggest “whys.”

This is why I keep smiling.
This is why I keep serving.
This is why I keep believing.

God has blessed me with an incredible family, and today I’m simply bragging on them. Thank you for helping me lead @meangreenselect

**Big Bang National Championship | Game 1 💥🏀**

Game 1 was all about making an impact on both ends of the floor. 🎯 Knocked down shots from deep, stayed locked in on defense, and did whatever it took to help the team compete.
