Pregnancy loss can be incredibly isolating. One of the hardest parts can be the feeling that the world carries on around you while your own world has changed completely. This Baby Loss Awareness Week, weโ€™re partnering with Mindfulness Expert @meditatewitheve and @zurichinsurance to share how weโ€™re showing up for people navigating pregnancy and baby loss. Having experienced this type of loss herself, Eve provides people with the space they need to meet what theyโ€™re feeling with compassion, while also helping those around them understand how to best offer support. Remember, you donโ€™t need to find the perfect words to be there for someone who is going through baby or pregnancy loss. Sometimes being present, listening, and acknowledging what has happened is exactly what they need.

If @meditatewitheve could tell her younger self one thing, it would be to start meditating. Meditation is an important skill that can help you build resilience and self-compassion for lifeโ€™s hardest moments, whether youโ€™re grieving, caregiving, or taking a step back from work. Just like Eve says, life isnโ€™t always easy. But how we respond is what really matters. Stay tuned from more insights, tips, and advice from @empathy_comโ€™s Mindfulness Expert in our new series, Moments with Eve. #meditation #momentswitheve #evelewis

As humans we often try to avoid the hard emotions, like sadness, grief, and uncertainty. And @meditatewitheve โ€” who spent years as one of Headspaceโ€™s original meditation teachers โ€” is honest in this conversation about what that avoidance costs us. After losing both her parents, she found that sitting still wasnโ€™t always the answer. What kept her anchored was walking in nature โ€” moving her body, letting the emotions move through her, rather than trying to contain them. The grief was physical. Eve has more advice like this in our full conversation, which is available on podcast platforms now and YouTube ๐Ÿ’›
