What a fun experience this was following @rebeccarusch , @meredith_root and @aaparker1 through some of the most breathtaking sections of Idaho.

First GovCon in the books.

We spent the past few days in Breckenridge learning from Colorado’s tourism community, meeting some incredibly smart people + taking in a LOT of ideas about where travel is headed.

Social search. AI. Changing creator partnerships. Audience strategy. Community. Authenticity. The evolving ways travelers discover + connect with a place.

A few of those conversations especially resonated with what we’re building at Art of the Stay - getting closer to the experience, finding the stories that make a place distinct + thinking about how those stories can live across the entire traveler journey.

Mostly, we left excited to be part of this community, with full notebooks + plenty to keep thinking about.

Thanks to everyone who shared so generously, swapped stories + welcomed the new kids at GovCon.

Something tells us it won’t be our last.

Thank you to all who attended. We put this event on for you, our great tourism community, so you get the real picture of how San Francisco is doing and what's coming next.

Check your inbox for our post-event survey. Tell us how we did and what you want to see next year. The best part? Submit it and get the full slide deck, so your furiously scribbled notes finally make sense.

None of this happens without our partners. Thank you to @GiantsEnterprises, @ATGSanFrancisco, @Expedia, @Meet.Miles, Vetter Events Group, @StandardEventRentals and @town_fare.

Following on our anthem singalong for @leavenotraceorg and @visitcolorado, our series of educational films on specific areas of outdoor etiquette. First up (or is it #2?), the Etiquette of Poop! 💩 Nobody likes to step in it, human or animal, so know before you go... and go before you go! Keep our trails clean and tidy, m’kay? Stay tuned next week for the Etiquette of Campfires! 🔥 / Agency @meet.miles / illustration @rmodini / audio @rockymtnrecorders

@destinationrogersar hosted its annual Tourism Talk, alongside @meet.miles, at @hotelavail this week to provide its partners with an overview of the region’s current tourism industry.

The session featured Colleen Phalen from @meet.miles, who discussed new trends impacting meeting planner priorities, and J.R. Shaw from @destinationrogersar, who presented the organization’s second annual Spirit of Hospitality Award to Chelsea Davila from Staybridge Suites.

@destinationrogersar, the official destination marketing organization of @rogers1881, supports the @rogerslowellchamber’s mission work in tourism and economic development through its efforts in promoting Rogers as a travel destination.

Y’all… this ‘ish is a LOT of work. But it’s also a lot of love. 💫

20+ talent styled. A production crew that doesn’t miss. A styling team that nails it every time. And a week spent uncovering the hidden gems of Virginia Beach for their latest commercial campaign.

This is the job nobody sees: pre-production prep, early calls, fast changes, problem-solving on the fly. But this is also the job I’d choose every single time.

Check out our BTS 🎬 and drop a comment if you want my VAB recs for your next trip.
