Crazy, scary, spooky, hillarious (but also beautiful), thanks to all those that have made it so special.
One year down, more to come it seems.
You win, Berlin.

We are very excited to announce our upcoming event:

ℂ𝕣𝕠𝕤𝕤𝕚𝕟𝕘𝕤 gathers the diverse experiences of Berlin’s diasporic communities, exploring how belonging is shaped, questioned, negotiated and transformed across cultural, national, and affective borders.

Emerging from two interdisciplinary and inter-university tutorials—“Forms of Belonging: The Making and Unmaking of Transnational Identities Across Afro-Asian Diasporas in Berlin” and “Understanding the Concept of Belonging Through Cinema: Crossing the Borders of Türkiye”—this joint research project and exhibition aims to bring together communities in meaningful ways that traverse the boundaries of genres, geographies and generations.

This project is funded by the Humboldt-Universitäts-Gesellschaft (HUG), the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), and the State of Berlin as part of the Excellence Strategy of the Federal and State Governments by the Berlin University Alliance, and is realized in collaboration with Refuge Worldwide as a venue and community partner.

ℂ𝕣𝕠𝕤𝕤𝕚𝕟𝕘𝕤
Refuge Worldwide, NM1, Niemetzstraße 1, 12055 Berlin
Fri–Sun, 18–20 July 2025
Free entry, open to all🤗

Why DONT you travel more?
Even though my suitcase and I have trust issues after that one trip through Germany…. I still believe you should travel more.

You deserve the memories, not just the bills.

If this made you laugh (or cry a little inside), share it with a friend who needs a vacation just as much as you do!

What a wonderful journey it was! A massive thank you to everyone involved, you made this play the most thrilling and enjoyable experience ever!

Special thanks to my other two lovely witches, Pernille and Marte! I couldn't have thought of better wyrd sisters than you!

Thank you to Nanny Ogg, what a jolly character you are, and to Terry Pratchett for creating such kind spirited, powerful and humorous women!

We had a ton of fun with this and I am honestly feeling a bit glum now that it's over. I love you all!

Happy #TuesdayCrewsday ! Today we have our wonderful gaffer, Megan 🌼
Megan Rae Lindeboom (she/they), is a senior at Umich pursuing a General Studies degree with specializations in Film, English, and German. Post graduation, Megan hopes to move to Berlin and enter into the German film industry!
As an artist, filmmaking fits Megan perfectly; she can imagine no better way to spend her time than by being in good company, constantly moving, and sharing stories. Megan has loved the experience of working with the cast and crew for IMALY’s production! She would like to note how professional and kind everyone is, and Megan is sure that the good energy on set will radiate on the screen as well. See Megan’s films on her YouTube channel! 🎞
