Not every couple wants to do a big exit, and sometimes you want to keep dancing long after your photographer leaves. Meet the sparkler dance party! I suggested this to another client earlier this year & then again for this gorgeous wedding day - my new favorite idea for dance floor goodbyes! Here’s some tips to make it perfect!

1. Choose a song everyone knows & is great for dancing.
2. Get the LONG sparklers so there’s plenty of time to party & get pictures. ( pro tip: get a few of the shorter ones so if the bride & groom want one it’s not so distracting in front of their face.)
3. Have several lighters & designated people to light starting on opposite ends so they start relatively in sync.
4. Lastly, have fun & celebrate! You’re married!

The ultimate Portland engagement shoot!! @mel_bents & I have been planning this out for months & months & it all turned out so well! All these spots were meaningful to these two & it was so fun to capture them together before their September wedding day!

We’ve had the BEST time with Jordan and Melia this weekend. Since she is now home from Japan, we were able to spend some quality time and celebrate their engagement. They are an adorable couple and will do great things!🥰💕🙌🏻🙏🏻
