In Monobob, the battle at the top is getting closer again! 🔥

Another standout performer in Sigulda was Lisa Buckwitz 🇩🇪. She showed her incredible power at the start by setting new track start records in both Monobob and 2-woman bobsleigh. 💥⏱️

Two disciplines, two new start records — an impressive way to finish the World Cup year in Latvia! 💪🛷

Week 4 of the 2025/2026 IBSF World Cup takes us to Sigulda, Latvia! 🇱🇻🛷🔥

This time, the focus is on the women’s 2-woman bobsleigh race.

One of the most experienced pilots in the sport, Kaillie Armbruster Humphries 🇺🇸, who has been competing as a bobsleigh pilot since 2006, claimed victory together with her push athlete Emily Renna. 🥇💪

And despite all her years at the top of the sport, there was still something new to celebrate: it was Humphries’ first 2-woman bobsleigh victory in Sigulda! 🏆🇱🇻

There was also another impressive performance at the start. After already setting a new start record in Monobob, Lisa Buckwitz and Lauryn Siebert 🇩🇪 followed it up with a new start record in the 2-woman event. 💥⏱️

Two start records in one weekend for Buckwitz — this time with Siebert providing the extra power on the handles! 🔥🛷

⏳ 71 days to go until the first women’s 2-woman bobsleigh race of the new World Cup season in Altenberg!

Week 4 of the 2025/2026 IBSF World Cup takes us to Sigulda, Latvia! 🇱🇻🛷🔥

In the women’s Monobob, Bree Walker 🇦🇺 once again came out on top, claiming her second consecutive victory after winning in Lillehammer the week before. 🥇

But this one required a comeback: after sitting in 4th place after the first run, Walker delivered when it mattered most and fought her way to the top of the podium. 💪🔥

And slowly, a fascinating battle for the Crystal Globe was beginning to take shape between Bree Walker and Laura Nolte. 🏆👀

There was another highlight at the start: Lisa Buckwitz set a new start record of 5.55 seconds! 💥⏱️

Probably one of the strongest push athletes among the pilots, Buckwitz once again showed just how much power she can produce at the start. 💪🛷

⏳ 72 days to go until the first Monobob race of the new World Cup season in Altenberg!
