Check out this GORGEOUS cover for AYESHA DEAN: THE SEVILLE SECRET by @melati.lum 💛😍💙
✨
I read the first book in the series last year and absolutely LOVED this story that is reminiscent of Nancy Drew, but with a Muslim protagonist! I'm excited to read about what new adventure awaits Ayesha and her friends in Spain. And can I just take a moment to admire Ayesha's style on the cover? Modest, but fashionable. 😍 Be sure to add this to your TBR! It releases April 7th!

A beautiful picture by @lifeofmyheart of my anak buah (nephew) at my brother in law's farm. @jwfinglis aka James/Jimbo/Jim/Zaid/Bob/Uncle Bob/Bungas (Australian for the Malay Abung)/Bungbung) has been my brother, advisor and mentor for as long as I can remember.
Brother in law in Arabic is Sihr / صهر. Interestingly a derivation of this is Sahr / صَهر which happens when you melt two metals together to create a stronger metal. I remember my Shaykh used to say this is exactly what the brother in law does, he brings two families together, binds them and makes them stronger. #Arabic #learnarabic #lovearabic #studyarabic #languages #farm #dog #brothers

Salam, I'm an Australian Muslim born from Malay/Chinese migrant parents. Growing up with a love of reading fiction, as a child I always wanted to be able to read about a Muslim heroine who I could relate with as a Muslim growing up in the west. That desire turned into one of wanting to write such a book, but my career as a criminal prosecutor of serious crimes took over for several years... Alhamdulillah this week I was able to launch my first book written for pre-teen children with an awesome Australian female Muslim heroine called Ayesha Dean that I hope all children will be able to relate with. The mystery adventure is called The Istanbul Intrigue and is available now from Amazon. I also hope that the book will promote increased understanding of Muslims amongst children of all faiths... 😊😊😊" - @melati.lum #muslimsoftheworld1
