If you’re a beginner on violin and worried about sounding good — this is for you.
Sound comes after comfort. Confidence comes after patience.
You’re not failing. You’re learning.

Beginners: what’s making you feel tense or unsure right now? You’re not alone 💛👇
Every violinist you admire once sounded like a beginner. Keep going.

10 days before the retreat, I shared that I felt like giving up on my business!

I felt like I’d lost my mojo, lost inspiration and didn’t feel myself.
That I felt like attending the retreat myself… and holding onto that, knowing how valuable the day is - is what kept me going.

After chatting with one of my co-facilitators Lisa, I decided to throw the rule book in the bin and also participate in the parts of the retreat that i wasn’t facilitating…. And it was the best thing I ever did.

I not only witnessed and facilitated the transformation of the 10 women who attended, I experienced it myself.

The funny thing was, as soon as I had opened up those 10 days prior…. The transformation began. What was in my way, started releasing and allowing for the clarity to drop in.

The day before the retreat, was also powerful for me. I’d fully prepped the retreat and it was time to prep me…I was at the nail salon (of all places) and I had an epiphany… like bam an idea dropped in out of nowhere that was clear as day for me (and so obvious).

Of course it did! Because I’d stepped away from the noise and was taking care of myself 🥰

At the retreat, it became more and more clear and was continued to be reflected back to me by the women at the retreat. I was in my power. I was in my genius zone.

My next steps became incredibly clear ✨

Not only for me, but all of the women there.

The retreat was insightful, inspiring, connected, motivational, transformational and powerful.

More to come…

Feeling overwhelmed by violin?
You are NOT alone 💛

Most beginners think they need to learn everything immediately…

Perfect posture.
Perfect intonation.
Perfect bowing.
Perfect rhythm.

But violin becomes easier when you stop trying to do EVERYTHING at once.

Small calm steps create real progress 🎻

✨ Focus on ONE thing at a time
✨ Celebrate tiny wins
✨ Confidence grows before perfection

Your squeaky phase is temporary.
Your progress still counts.
And you are more capable than you think.

Keep going 💛

Being in tune with nature reminds me who I am when nothing is expected of me.
No rush. No noise. Just breath, rhythm, and presence

Practice isn’t about sounding good straight away — it’s about showing up, learning, and giving yourself permission to begin.
