From Viking to Cougar.

Emeli Muagututi’a has officially signed with Chicago State University, where she will continue her academic and athletic career competing in indoor volleyball at the Division I level.

A key member of both our indoor and beach volleyball programs, Emeli helped lead the Vikings to undefeated conference championships and Final Four appearances in both indoor and beach during one of the most successful years in program history.

We are incredibly proud of everything she has accomplished and can’t wait to see what’s next. ✨

A very overdue wedding post for these two… because apparently I like to keep beautiful photos sitting in my camera roll for several months first 🤍✨

But truly, what a special day this was celebrating our sweet Ezra and Koben.

One of my favorite things about them is how naturally they enjoy doing life together. Through all the exciting parts, stressful parts, busy schedules, future planning, work, goals, and everyday moments… they genuinely seem to like being a team, and I love that.

I’m also so proud of the choices they’ve made along the way. Both serving missions, both choosing to be married in the temple, and now building a life together centered on faith, love, hard work, and commitment. It’s been really sweet watching them step into marriage and this new season of life together.

We love these two so much and are so happy for them. So grateful we got to be part of such a beautiful day and celebrate the beginning of their next chapter together. 🤍

She did it!!! 🎓❤️💛
What a beautiful, emotional, joy-filled graduation day celebrating our girl!

Watching Nayelí walk that stage was surreal. Years of hard work, sacrifice, discipline, early mornings, late nights, long practices, tough seasons, hard workouts, studying between road trips and games…all leading to this moment right here.

And the craziest part? She’s not done yet.

Bachelor’s degree officially complete ✔️
One more volleyball season ahead 🏐
Master’s degree up next ✨
And so many dreams still waiting for her.

What makes Nayelí so special isn’t just what she accomplishes, it’s who she is while accomplishing it.
