✨🧡Officially in my Showgirl era🧡✨

I was so honored to do my first public speaking event last night with my friend @eliseclarkfnp for @evergreenfunctional at the Ritz Carlton’s Women’s Wellness Decoded. It’s truly surreal being at this point in my career/life where I’m able to get up on a stage and share parts of my healing journey and all I’ve learned along the way.

There’s a special kind of magic speaking to a crowd about what used to be the hardest time in my life. I never could have imagined having the strength, education, and ability to get to this point where my experience can have such a positive impact on other’s lives. I had a real *pinch me* moment afterwards as women came up and shared their own stories with me….the feeling of, ohh this is what it’s all about. The struggle, trial and error, and consistent knowing that I needed to keep moving forward on this path to be able to get to a place where I can reach more women struggling has all been worth it.

I’m so grateful and I can’t wait to do it again soon!

Dinner for 8 of my dearest girlfriends that make me laugh, let me cry and complain, and lift me up, encourage me and believe in me! I was so happy I could do this for them.

And of course, one of the best things is I got to use my old farm table, cowhides, flowers from my garden, signature napkins and… wait for it … 9 of my vintage blankets!!!!

Yet perhaps the absolute pinnacle was that I did not have to cook a single thing! Thank you Chef Byron and Dani from CC Young in creating a fabulous 4 course meal for us.

Shout out to Heather Benjamin for creating the beautiful jewelry for my hats, Kemosabe for burning symbols onto the hats, Ceremonia for my beautiful blouse, and Jordan Stricker for taking the most fabulous and flattering photos!

One year at Alive and Well!!!✨ So thankful to be apart of this place. When I look back at the past year I see a transformative year for myself personally and for this business!! It’s been so rewarding and fulfilling to offer this beautiful functional wellness space to the Dallas community and I feel so honored to be apart of opening it.
