October 3 holds a little extra meaning for me this year. 🩷

Seven years ago today, I hosted my second @phillyinfluencermixer event.

At the time, I was simply creating something I felt Philly needed. A space for creators to connect, learn from one another, meet brands and media, and build relationships right here in our own city.

I believed then and I believe even more now that Philly’s creator community deserves experiences worth showing up for. We shouldn’t always have to look outside of our city for the rooms, resources, conversations and opportunities we want. There is so much talent here. So many stories here. So much possibility here.

And somehow, seven years later, October 3 finds me one week away from PIMCON, Philly’s Creator Conference.

That part gets me.

What started as a mixer has grown into something I once only imagined: a full conference bringing together creators, entrepreneurs, media, brands and industry professionals for a day built around this community.

Building it hasn’t always been easy. There have been moments when I’ve questioned myself, moments when I wished more people could see the vision before it was fully realized, and plenty of moments when I’ve had to keep going anyway.

But I know why I created this.

Because Philly deserves this.

And I’m incredibly proud that instead of waiting for someone else to build it here, I did.

One week from today, we do it again; bigger than that girl hosting her second mixer seven years ago probably could have imagined.

October 10. PIMCON 2026. Philly, this one is for us.

Cracks, gold, and the best company ✨🏺

Our JBN Women’s Initiative Kintsugi Night was one for the books! We learned the Japanese art of mending broken pottery with gold, and honestly? It’s a lot harder than it looks 😅

But that’s the beauty of it. Kintsugi doesn’t hide the cracks, it turns them into something stronger and more beautiful. The perfect reminder as we move from the High Holidays into Sukkos, the time of our joy 💛

A golden thank you to our amazing co-chairs Tori Levin, Nina Rosen, and Ali Sichel for bringing this night to life 🫶 And thank you to every woman who came out to create, connect, and shine. See you in the spring!

I wouldn’t trek to Fishtown with a hangover for just anyone! But my friend @madisonkcookies is always worth it. Her cookie decorating class at @evilgeniusbeer was so much fun, and I think we all did pretty well… but she also makes it all look so easy.

If you love her cookies and custom work, definitely take one of her future classes because you’ll have a whole new appreciation for what goes into everything she creates.
