In the spring semester, I received a scholarship to attend a workshop at Anderson Ranch Arts Center, which I had only heard of a few months prior! I had no idea what to expect, aside from that the food was going to be great (it was) and that it would be an invaluable experience (again, it was).

This June I attended the ranch for two weeks, studying with Namdoo Kim in his workshop Storytelling in Clay: Shaping Imagination. I learned so much just by working in the same room with artists of different backgrounds and experiences. It was an honor to work with so many talented, funny, and kind humans.

Thank you all for such a lovely experience—one I will not soon forget!

A wonderful conclusion to my first two-week workshop at @andersonranchartscenter

This experience was entirely shaped by my students, and I feel very privileged to have spent time with such a talented and warm group of individuals.

Thank you once again to Anderson Ranch for hosting me. Sincere appreciation goes to Betsy @betsyalwin , Joanne @swjlceramics , and the amazing interns @chloeyuneart @rebbsart @sloop.ceramics for their exceptional coordination and support throughout the program. I look forward to future collaborations and returning with new projects.

Two magical weeks at Anderson Ranch @andersonranchartscenter have come to an end. It was an honor to return for my third visit, but my first as a Visiting Artist dedicated entirely to my studio practice. The space, time, and creative energy here are unmatched, made even better by the beautiful community.

Sharing this session with @namdoo_in_underland while he taught his two-week workshop made this time truly unforgettable, and it was a joy to connect with his wonderful students. Thank you, Anderson Ranch, for a spectacular summer. Until next time!
