I feel like sometimes, reparations feel too close to home. Fighting for them for oneself can leave little room to learn & imagine together. That is why this autumn, I feel grateful to be convening two conversations as part of FACING REPARATION, a public talk series within @zhdk_formingdiversity @zhdkcampus ZHdK, initiated by Sophie Vögele & Team @kap_gra @e1iva @mayar.elbakry & me 💛 16.10 | LARISSA TIKI MBASSI Reparation – What does it mean? Can we find an embodied & situated response? @tiki_milane Experimental historian & curator exploring memory, Blackness and knowledge production. 💗 27.11 | RASHAYLA MARIE BROWN (Dr. RMB) Ancestral (After)life in Black Femme Aesthetics @rmbstudios Undisciplinary™ artist-scholar exploring ancestral knowledge, Black femme aesthetics and reparations. Both conversations convened by me, Meloe Gennai. 📍 ZHdK, Toni-Areal, Room 4.T33 🕔 17:00–18:30 ✨ Public talks 💌 come as your brilliant self you:)! And please check out the other wonderful conversations in the series. There's so much to learn from one another. Let's spark conversations! And imagine repair... Together!
