I loved them both SO much!! Watching them slowly find their way back to each other while dealing with everything that tore them apart was so emotional 🥹 The suspense was so good, it kept me on edge..The twists at the end… yes, MULTIPLE twists!! I was not prepared, and I loved every second of it!! The emotions, the tension, the chemistry, the perfectly balanced steam… all of it!! This book gave me everything I love in a second chance romance, with that added suspense..perfection 🤌🏻 I did an immersive read, and @connorcrais and @akaemmawilder were amazing as Seb and Lila. The hurt and longing in their voices made everything feel that much more real. Their narration was top tier, as always!! 🤍🎧 This story also deals with some heavier topics, so please make sure to check the content warnings before picking it up. Elizabeth Bright, I need MORE!! The scenes hit so much harder when you know the complexity and the layers of this series. This reread is everything right now. Between all the new chosens reading for the first time, and connecting with those who have read it, and this being my third reread of all except Chaotic, I am loving the group train read we have going on, even with ARC breaks, backlogs everyone has and life plans. This is so much fun. After the last few months being hard with big transitions and the upcoming months going emotionally challenging with a lot of first since losing my dad and the year anniversary rapidly approaching. This escape into the group read is everything to me. So if you've made it this far in reading the caption, thanks for joining me. It really does mean a lot. Tyson Crawford is my favorite Lord next to Kash Daddy. The planning. The patience. The twists. The curveball. THE LAYERS OF THIS STORY. 🌹ARC REVIEW 🌹 LOVE & NOTES by @corinneedialauthor A broody British bad boy at the piano and a goodie two-shoes with a violin… oh, I loved these two!! And the way Julian yearns….🤌🏻 Julian and Ellise come from very different worlds and upbringings, but both are incredibly gifted musicians. She’s the school’s golden girl who feels everything so deeply. He’s a beautiful, broody, rule-breaking pianist with a tortured soul…🥹 They hate each other… but do they really..? I loved watching their relationship shift from rivals to friends to lovers, and eventually become each other’s safe space. They’ve both experienced loss, and seeing them open up, connect, and help each other heal was so beautiful. Their vulnerable moments were just as powerful as the steamy ones. And this man falls SO hard for her….🥰 I also really appreciated how Corinne approached Ellise’s hypermobility, showing how it affected her musical performances, everyday life, and intimate moments. This story packs an emotional punch, and you know I love that!!
