We got nominated for the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, and we’re accepting!
We want to nominate the entire @__EliteAthletes family:
🏈 Coaches
🏈 Players
🏈 Parents
📸 Media Team
We also want to nominate our friends at @Supremes.Athletics and the entire Floyd family. We know this cause hits close to home for you, and we’re standing with you.
Coach Jeff, myself, and the entire Elite Athletes staff will be donating a portion of every training session through the end of July to Massachusetts General Hospital in support of ALS research.
Let’s raise awareness, have some fun, and most importantly, make a difference. We challenge everyone we nominated to participate and keep it going.

My oh May… I’m a big signs person so this random sticky note I found was definitely a sign! 🤗

Got to see the lovely Chandra @littlefarm_pets and all the 🐐babes!! Even got to see one of the baby goats that I met years ago and is now a mama herself!! Shoutout to Miss Marisa @mentalskillstraining for leading us in yoga 🫶🏼 baaaaamaste babe🧘🏽‍♀️

My trainer taught me this killer workout called Hillside Strangler… less than 8 minutes and ooofff so good 🫠☠️

My mama joined the group on a hike which was amazing to share one of my special places with her and she learned it really is an all day affair hahaha - thank you @leigh_ofthelanddddd @lofthelhealthnfitness for hosting hikes all over!!

As always - dentist is still my favorite to keep my pearly whites, white haha since it’s nearly impossible for me to not smile 😁😁😁

Got to be a part of the elite team for commencement this year at work with some of my favorite guys 🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼

Got to meet my besties new little bestie and I’m so in love 🥰

My old friend from college invited me to the MGK X Wiz Khalifa concert which was a blast!! We got upgraded seats for free and had so much fun!

My Russian spy girl took me dancing for disco night 💃🏻 🪩

Sundays, my mama and I get together for church and we found an amazing restaurant from some of our South American friends - highly recommend!

Nothing like an impromptu trip to Vegas 😝 - my lips are sealed!

To end the month with one of my beautiful cousins was the cherry on top - to see her grow into herself is beautiful and to become closer in adulthood is so precious 🥹

COACH CASS aka Uncle Snook.

Comfort doesn’t build speed.
Comfort doesn’t build strength.
Comfort doesn’t prepare you for game time or life.
But that’s okay because growth doesn’t come from staying comfortable.
Growth lives in trying new things.
Progress comes from a little controlled challenge.

When we work on balance, coordination, and movement, we’re helping your body and mind learn together. That’s how muscles get stronger. That’s how the nervous system gets quicker. And that’s how confidence is built, step by step.

I’m not here to make drills easy.
I’m here to help YOU grow. Feeling uncomfortable doesn’t mean you’re doing it wrong.
It usually means you’re learning something new.

Discomfort is temporary but Progress is permanent.

Trust yourself. Trust the WURK.

The LAST 24 hours, I received THREE calls from parents saying the same thing…
grown coaches yelling, cussing, and breaking down 10U & 12U kids.

That’s OUT. & That’s not coaching. That’s ego. These are kids.
Not pros. Not college athletes. Not grown men.

When you yell and cuss at a child, you don’t make them tougher, you make them scared, timid, and afraid to be themselves on the court!

At 10–12 years old, kids are building Confidence, self-esteem, identity and have trust in adults. Yelling puts the brain in fear mode, not learning mode.
Fear shuts kids down.

That turns into overthinking, hesitation, loss of creativity, anxiety around sports, kids quitting the game early And it don’t stop at basketball…It follows them to school, home, and everyday life.

FACTS OVER YALL FEELINGS!!

• Kids learn faster in positive environments
• Fear-based coaching lowers performance
• Most kids quit sports before 13 because it stops being fun
• Cussing at children damages confidence—it does NOT build toughness

A kid that’s scared to mess up will never reach their potential.

I TEACH, Fun first, Learning second,
I ALWAYS BUILD Confidence, always tell em it’s Safe to fail and it’s Joy over pressure

Before rankings. Before trophies. Before highlights. LET KIDS LUVE THE GAME.

* UNCLE SNOOK SUNDAYS

So instead of just complaining, I’m stepping up. Starting soon I’m launching UNCLE SNOOK SUNDAYS.

FREE workouts. FREE movement. FREE LUVE. Every Sunday starting FEBRUARY for the youth & the community.

WHAT UNCLE SNOOK SUNDAYS WILL BE:

Basketball + movement + games, Confidence-building drills, Positive coaching ONLY, No yelling, No cussing & No fear

Just kids being kids…
Learning, laughing, sweating, and smiling.

WHO IT’S FOR:

• Kids who got yelled at
• Kids who lost confidence
• Kids who stopped LUVE’n the game
• Parents who want their child protected

I will always protect the kids, their confidence & their LUVE for the game

If a child leaves smiling and wanting to come back, WE WON.

Details coming soon.
Pull up. Bring your kids. Bring the community.

Let’s heal the game with LUVE.

— Uncle Snook 💪🏽🖤
