POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I got an inside look at the Green Compass Global HER Wellness launch, a new product made for women, for every day of your cycle, not just one week.

Founder @meredithcookgc introduced HER Cycle, their new cycle support gummies, and the afternoon was build-your-own bouquets, good food, and other women creators and influencers around Charlotte.

Because your cycle isn’t just one week, it’s the whole month, and you deserve support on all of it.

Funny how you can walk into two completely different rooms and walk away thinking about the exact same thing.

That’s pretty much what happened to me this weekend.

Saturday, I listened to Green Compass founder Meredith share the story behind a new product created to help women navigate their monthly hormonal changes.

Sunday, I drove to Wilmington and listened to Carlton share the story of Tropic founder Susie Ma, who at just 15 years old was determined to create a better life for her mom.

Two different women. Two different companies. Two very different stories.

But both started with someone who wanted to make a difference.

And it reminded me how much the world is changing. And how much it’s staying the same.

Because when you strip away the products, the companies, the social media and all the noise, it still comes back to people.

The conversations. The encouragement. The friendships.

The relationships that go so much deeper than whatever product brought us together in the first place.

𝗣𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿. 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿. 𝗔𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝘄𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀.

And somewhere between Charlotte and Wilmington this weekend, I had a thought.

𝗔𝗺 𝗜 𝗮𝗻 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗹𝘂𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿? 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗯𝗹𝘆 𝗻𝗼𝘁.

𝗔𝗻 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗿? 𝗚𝗼𝘀𝗵, 𝗜 𝗵𝗼𝗽𝗲 𝘀𝗼.

One of my favorite nights 🦪🌱

@greencompassglobal hosted the most beautiful evening at Leon’s Oyster Shop, and it was such a special one.

As a pregnant mom, I especially loved hearing from founder and getting a deeper look into what goes into the products and why they were created . I’ve become so much more conscious of ingredients and transparency, especially during pregnancy, so this conversation really resonated with me. 🤍

Amazing conversations, the sweetest people, and of course, incredible food. Such a fun night surrounded by women who care about feeling their best and taking care of themselves🌱

Six years. 🤍 And honestly, it’s hard to put into words what this journey with Green Compass has meant to me.

Six years ago, I said yes to something I didn’t fully understand yet—and it has become so much more than a business. It has given me purpose, an incredible team that feels like family, friendships I never expected, and customers who have become so much more than customers.

And then there are the products. 🌿 Products that have genuinely been life-changing for our family and so many others. Getting to share something I truly believe in and watch it make a difference in people’s lives is something I will always be grateful for.

This business has also been a financial blessing for our family. The extra income has helped us in ways that matter—taking some financial pressure off, helping with our family’s needs, and giving us opportunities we may not have had otherwise. That part of this journey is something I’m incredibly thankful for, too.

So today, I’m not just celebrating six years with a company. I’m celebrating the people, the purpose, the products, the growth, the memories, and the blessings that have come along the way.

Thank you, Green Compass, for six incredible years. And thank you to every team member, customer, friend, and person who has been part of my journey. I’m so grateful. 💚🌿

These arrived while I was off bringing my kids to college, and opening them felt a little extra meaningful. 💚

Green Compass looks different today than it did when I first said yes, but my gratitude for this company and this journey hasn’t changed.

These products came into my life when I truly needed them. They helped me regulate my nervous system, manage my pain, sleep through the night, and ultimately feel more like myself again.

But it’s been so much more than products.

It’s the people I’ve met. The friendships I never would have had. The experiences, the growth, the memories, and the opportunity to help other people find things that have made a difference for me.

Things change. Seasons change. Life changes.

But I will forever be grateful for everything Green Compass has brought into my life—and these little reminders of what we’ve accomplished along the way mean more than any award ever could. 💚

I will continue to be affiliated with Green Compass. I have customers who have found immense relief with our products and I know I have more lives to change.

Gratitude, always.

These arrived yesterday, and looking at them feels a little different this time.

I started my journey with Green Compass in 2019. While the business looks very different today than it did when I began, I will never look back on these years with anything other than immense gratitude.

This past year, I was recognized as a Top Ranked Performer in enrollments, preferred customers and personal sales, the #3 Enroller company-wide, and the Top State Achiever in New York for both personal sales and new advocates.

And I am so proud of that. Not simply because of the rankings, but because of what they represent.

They represent consistency, discipline, relationships, early mornings, late nights, and continuing to show up even during a season when the future felt uncertain. In some ways, I may be prouder of these awards than any that came before them, because they were earned in a year that wasn’t all rainbows and butterflies. Showing up required a little more perseverance.

Green Compass has changed. My business with Green Compass has changed. And yes, there is sadness in seeing a chapter become something different than I once imagined. But there is also so much gratitude.

This business changed my life in ways that reach far beyond a paycheck or title. It grew me as a leader, stretched me as a businesswoman, gave me friendships and experiences I’ll carry forever, and taught me what can happen when you simply keep showing up.

I still share Green Compass. I still believe deeply in the products and what they can do. That part of my story isn’t over, even though it looks different now.

These will sit proudly beside the others because I know exactly what it took to earn them. Grateful for what was. Proud of what I built. And incredibly excited for what’s next.

After struggling with postpartum anxiety no one had prepared her for, Meredith Cook found relief in hemp and clean formulation. She turned that into @greencompassglobal, growing the company from zero to $40 million in two years, almost entirely by word of mouth.

We talk a lot about how beautiful it is to become a mom.

But we don’t talk enough about how damn hard it can be.

The recent trial in the news has brought me right back to my own postpartum struggles after our twins were born.

Three boys under the age of two — whew, there were some hard days. ❤️

It’s also had me thinking about my sweet friend Meredith and her own postpartum journey.

Her story started with one momma looking for something that could help her feel like herself again after the birth of her second child.

And her struggle became a silver lining for so many others.

Maybe that’s why I believe so deeply that our stories matter.

Because sometimes the silver lining of what we’ve walked through is simply being able to turn around and say…

I’ve been there too.

You’re not the only one.

Here’s what helped me.

Share the beautiful stories.

But maybe even more importantly, be brave enough to share the hard ones too.

You never know who might need to hear yours. ❤️
