What a busy Friday!

Today was National Custodians' Day - and we celebrated 5 between 3 schools! We are so thankful for Mr. Dean, Tina, Tim, Josie and James - and yes, those are bedazzled by Katie cards. They make our schools sparkle and shine- they deserve something shiny too.

Then the "Fun Lady" was off to Bennett Woods to celebrate our $15,000 milestone for Fun Run. We had a dance party at lunch recess with bubbles, music, chalk, mello Jello - and Bolt, of course!

And if that wasn't enough fun for one day...the 2nd Annual Pack Picnic was tonight too. We had beautiful weather and a great turn out. Thank you to Girl Scouts, @victorymartialarts.okemos @meridiantwppd
@sftalansing
@action.okemos for supporting our event!

This summer, orsa credit union partners with Laura Killingbeck, renowned adventurer and author, as she rides from the Upper Peninsula to Detroit to raise awareness and support for survivors of domestic and economic abuse in Michigan. Along the way she’ll connect with Michiganders, survivors, and non-profit partners to explore real women’s stories and share her journey.

Thank you Laura for coming to see us at MCEDSV. @laurakillingbeck

Yesterday, to commemorate Memorial Day, members of MSU Police joined first responders from the Meridian Township Police, Meridian Township Fire Department, and the East Lansing Fire Department for our second annual Murph at Nitro Performance CrossFit. The Murph Challenge is completed nationwide in honor of Navy SEAL Lt. Michael P. Murphy, who was killed in Afghanistan in 2005. Each participant takes on a 1‑mile run, 100 pull‑ups, 200 push‑ups, 300 squats, and a final 1‑mile run — a demanding tribute that reflects service, sacrifice, and resilience. We’re proud of everyone who stepped up to complete this Memorial Day tradition.

Happy National Donut Day!! 🍩

This morning, we had the most amazing time celebrating Donut Day with the Meridian Township Police Department! 🚔

Families enjoyed checking out the police patrol car, decorating their own donuts, playing with bubbles and chalk, and having fun on the playground!

✨The Fire Department even came out to surprise us all! 🚒

Thank you to both the Police Officers and Firefighters who came out to help make our first Donut Day with a Police Officer event so special! The families loved it! 🥰
