We are so grateful for a day spent worshipping together. Although we meet in different locations, we are one church, with one mission: to glorify God by making disciples of all nations. Now let’s go and live on mission this week!

What a special day! More than 35 people attended Starting Point at the Baton Rouge Campus, learning more about what it means to be a member of Istrouma.

🛎️Ascension Campus, if you’ve been thinking about membership, your Starting Point is next week, September 27!

We learned more about Christ and how he is sufficient in all things as we continued in our Colossians series.

Students at Ascension gathered and worshipped this morning!

There’s something special about gathering together as a church family and learning about the sufficiency of Christ!
This morning across our campuses, we spent time in God’s word — in groups and in corporate worship. We observed the Lord’s Supper and our 55+ adults collected food for the Louisiana Baptist Children’s Home.
Now let’s go and live on mission this week!

What was Sunday morning like today at Istrouma? A message from the book of Colossians that challenged us and worship that brought us closer to God. 🙌 “The gospel made it to you because it was on its way to someone else!”

Who loves watching kids learn to treasure God’s word? 🙋‍♂️🙋‍♀️
Today was Kindergarten Bible Sunday and both campuses hosted new kindergarteners and their families for a special morning of breakfast and the presentation of new Bibles.

Fall Kickoff was such a special day! Kids and students promoted to new groups (with some fun giveaways and door prizes), and our students got to meet the new intern, Jonnell! During the worship service, we explored our mission as a church and Pastor Merrick challenged us to make disciples of the nations and our neighbors. How will you live on mission this week?

Small group leaders and guest service volunteers met at the Baton Rouge Campus tonight for a meal, a game of how-well-do-you-know-your-staff trivia (we learned a few things 😂), an encouraging word from Pastor Merrick, and some age group breakouts. We are SO thankful for these amazing people who pour into the lives of church members each week! #endureinfaith

This morning we celebrated a great basketball season with Istrouma Sports and welcomed Dr. Jamie Dew as our guest speaker. We’re so thankful for the 🏀 families who participated with us this season and for the many volunteers who made it possible!
