One week away!

Register today for Pitch United! We're making Innovations Pitch Night bigger and better by combining it with our annual UNITE celebration, November 20 at 5:30 pm at The University of Tulsa Alan Chapman Student Union - Great Hall

See our five grant winners pitch their innovative ideas for our community that impressed the grant committee. You’ll have a chance to sit in the funder’s seat as you vote for the ideas YOU believe will make the biggest difference as you help two organizations take home Audience Choice Awards totaling $25,000.

We will also take time to honor our donors, nonprofit partners, and volunteers, and give an update on how much you have helped raise for the 2025 fundraising drive!

This summer, we had the absolute pleasure of working with Timothy, whose intentionality, hard work, and team-player mentality made a lasting impact on our organization. From day one, Timothy brought thoughtfulness and dedication to every task, and his positive energy lifted everyone around him.

As he heads into his junior year of high school, we’re cheering him on and wishing him all the best! Tulsa’s future is bright with leaders like Timothy! 🌟

A special thank you to @metcaresfoundation Hometown Collective for partnering with us to make this opportunity possible. 💙

Thank you to @metcaresfoundation for inviting me to lead a session on Speak to Lead for Social Impact! Through my signature MVP Method (Master Your Message, Voice Your Value, Present with Power), I helped leaders:

- Get clear on who they are and what they stand for
- Practice compelling storytelling & interviews
- Build media-ready confidence
- Step into their voice as thought leaders

The results? 94% of participants rated this session a 5 out of 5.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

📌 They walked away with clarity:
🗣️“My five whys brought me back to my purpose.”

🎤 They practiced presence and power:
🗣️ “I learned how to speak with authority and insert my expertise with intention.”

🎯 They left media-ready:
🗣️ “Sound bites are key. Now I know how to focus the narrative and show up as the expert.”

This was a powerful workshop that equipped leaders embedded in community work to own their expertise, name their impact, and use their voice to drive change.

This work is my sweet spot, and it was such an honor to support these fellows! ❤️

🚨 FULL TIME JOB MENTIONED 🚨

Happy tears were on sicko mode last night. I held on to this image so many times when I thought this program would never be realized.

Yesterday, 8 North Tulsa high schoolers graduated the pilot Hometown Collective initiative from the heart of @metcaresfoundation. This 8 week program opened the door to career exploration for our ‘Hometown Heroes’: students interned at beloved Tulsa orgs and gained professional skills from community friends.

This process was such a labor of love. As program director, I got a front row seat to the magic of youth investment. All 8 rockstars have more clarity, confidence, and hope for their future. They rubbed a little on me, too.

I am proud to live in a city where they exist! Tulsa is so kind to me. 🤎
