We are BLACK LADIES!..........We build......We don’t tear down other BLACK LADIES......We have felt the pain of being torn down and we have decided we will be deliberated about building others! If i didn’t tag you please don’t be offended. I tried to pick people i thought would do this challenge!! All too often, building each other up. With all the negativity going around let’s do something positive!!!♥️Upload 1 picture of yourself......ONLY you. Then tag as many SISTERS to do the same. Let’s build ourselves up, instead of tearing ourselves down.♥️♥️COPY AND PASTE♥️♥️If i tagged you, don’t disappoint me!! #blacklivesmatter #blackwoman #beauty #beautiful #thecutlife #naturalhair #shorthair #Fitfortheculture #Melaninfitinspiration

Congratulations, my dear friend Dr. Amenze R. Omoruyi.

Watching how hard you’ve worked to get to this moment has been both inspiring and a true testament to God’s grace and favor. Putting this together was an honor and brought back so many memories of our days at Elite Scholars Academy. Go fourth and shine ✨💗

We are all so proud of you!

My number one girl. “No I am not crying, you’re crying”. I am beyond proud and can’t/won’t stop saying it. I love you and will always be here for every step you take 😍😍😍😍😍😍

“To live is to suffer….to survive, well, that’s to find meaning in the suffering”

Anxiety robbed me most of my adolescence , kept me from a lot of connections in my early 20s, made me feel like I did not belong in certain rooms as a young adult

Experiencing profound, unexpected grief amidst pursuing a medical degree felt like I finally had a reason to give up. But I felt I would be doing a disservice to my immigrant parents who worked tirelessly to give me a better life than they were afforded.

a lot of times people ask me how I did it, that they would have given up. Truth is I did give up. I gave up on the type of life I thought I would have, and surrendered to the life God had in store for me.

Mindfulness takes me out of my thoughts. Each day faced with its own uncertainties, I am reminded of a quote by Maya Angelou : this is a new day I have never seen before , and for that I am grateful.
