POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I’ve now been in Chicago longer than I lived in SF which seems crazy. Visited last weekend for my birthday, Portola music fest, Folsom and perfect late September weather. Loved visiting old haunts, sharing it with Matt and friends, and of course seeing so many familiar friendly faces. In some ways SF has changed a lot, and in a lot of ways it’s like I never left 💜

Things I like about the US: public beaches & national parks, gay marriage, diverse communities, separation of church & state, unions, public libraries & museums, the fight for equality, freedom of expression and the right to protest, publicly funded research & science, and a pervasive spirit of optimism, resilience, reinvention and the hope for a better tomorrow.
No doubt we have lots of room for improvement. Looking forward to us growing up a bit more. We’ll see how the next 250 years go?
