@goldcreative_designstudio thanks for organising our creative afternoon out 🙌

DIVA at the Auckland Museum did not disappoint.

With our headphones on, we marched down the red corridor and were transported from the 1800s right through to today’s DIVAs — a journey through linguistics, fashion, determination, performance, and costume. The men and women were groundbreaking on every level. Who knew the word DIVA first appeared in the 1800s and has shifted its meaning across the decades? This was illustrated in a cool infographic — which I loved, of course.

After a busy week in lockdown I’ve finally cast my vote for Bird of the Year and I have chosen the Bellbird / korimako 💗

The korimako has a special place in my heart and childhood memories. We would often visit my great uncle in the South Island countryside. His place was, and still is, just magical. Waking up on a misty morning to the bellbirds singing in the tōtaras… pure bliss.

Anyway, this amazing bird deserves to win - and surprisingly has never won before!!

If you haven’t voted yet, get to www.birdoftheyear.org.nz to have your say.
Voting closes end of tomorrow- so get in and have your say. 🙂

Which bird will you vote for and why? 💗

Are you planning on sending some Kiwiana and Aroha overseas this Christmas? Come in and send it sooner rather than later.. less than 7 weeks till Christmas and the post is much slower this year.

We have beautiful New Zealand themed Christmas cards featuring art by New Zealand artists, including local creative genius Nikki Slade Robinson.

We have multi packs which make the cards great value, and a huge range of styles. Plus, all these Kiwi cards are within the DLE size range - so no surprise extra postage.

To make your posting smoother, if you see a big queue down at the post office we have stamps up the front too!
