“Are you sure you don’t need another shooter?”

Me: “Nah, I’m good.” 😂

Arkansas Strength Expo definitely put that answer to the test. 😳😎

Two platforms, one camera and a whole lot happening at the same time.
But, hey, that’s meet day.

You find the moments, get the shots, and make sure every lifter has something they can look back on.

Some of the hardest working people at a powerlifting meet never step on the platform.

While everyone is watching the lift, they're loading the bar, watching every attempt, keeping lifters safe, and getting everything ready to do it all over again.

Every attempt. Every lifter. Every time.

Thank you to every spotter, loader, and judge who keeps this sport moving. It doesn't happen without you.

If you didn't know this was Tabitha's first meet back, you'd never guess it.

She looked like she'd never left. Calm, confident, and ready to go from her first lift to her last. It was a great day on the platform, and I'd say that's a pretty good way to come back.

Welcome back, Tabitha.

It's easy to think a meet is all about the total. But sometimes the best part of the day has nothing to do with the numbers.

It's the people cheering you on. The friends who make you laugh when you're frustrated. The reminder that one rough meet doesn't erase all the work that got you there.

Keep going. You're capable of more than one day can measure.

At 16 years old, Rafe is already making some serious noise.

The records are starting to stack up, but none of it happened by accident. He's putting in the work, and it's pretty easy to see he's got good people behind him. His dad is there every chance he gets, and his gym has been in his corner from the beginning. Having people who believe in you like that goes a long way.

He's off to one heck of a start, and I have a feeling this is only the beginning.

Forgot to sign up for a video until right before deadlifts?

Good thing you found me. 😉

Don't worry, I've got you.

And I'm really glad I did because Krystal went out there and gave me a moment I was happy to capture. Those last pulls were simply amazing!! She trusted her training, listened to her team and it all paid off. 😁

I love when meet day surprises you with moments like this.

Congratulations, Krystal. That was a fun one to be a part of.

Everyone 's talking about SPF hosting its first Drug Tested meet at ASX.
But can we just talk about those women for a minute?

TWO. FULL. FLIGHTS.

Read that again.

The platform was stacked with women who came ready to work and left everything on the platform. They brought the energy from the first lift to the last one. It was impossible to not get caught up in the excitement.

What a fantastic day for women's powerlifting.

Vacation was so much fun. But after 10 days away, it sure felt good to come home.

We kicked things off at the Arkansas Strength Expo. I got to spend the weekend doing what I love, catching up with friends, and watching some incredible lifting.

Then it was time to explore.

Arkansas is such a beautiful state. We spent a lot of time driving and taking in the views. Well Pat drove I was passenger princess 😆

Our cabin was perfect. Quiet with amazing mountain views. And then there was Fred, our vacation dog. Every day he came to see us. On our last morning he even brought a few friends with him. 🐶🐶🐶

We wrapped up the trip at the cabin with our pups before heading home today.

It was a good trip.😊
