Our next Volunteer Voices reflection comes from Mia💛 “Volunteering for Corazones de Servicio is an experience I’ll truly never forget! This was my first mission trip, and it surpassed all my expectations in the best way possible. From early mornings waking up to the BEST and most uplifting music, to putting our hearts into the work, spending time with the campesinos, and ending each day together, I couldn’t have imagined a more incredible experience. I believe an organization’s heart is made up of the people in it, and wow… I’m in awe of the passion, commitment, and joy these women bring to everything they do. No matter how hard we worked or how much we were sweating, there was never a moment where joy wasn’t present. That’s something I’ll always carry with me. I’m beyond thankful for this experience and have so much respect for the work CDS does. Although it was tough to leave, I know this is the first of many more trips. This volunteer experience taught me the true meaning behind “en todo amar y servir.” -Mia Thank you, Mia, for serving with such love and joy. 💛

Wrapped up an unforgettable 3-day run to Bimini with the crew boys and girls went all in. Spearfishing, deep dropping, swimming with dolphins, and just vibing hard the whole time. On the way back, we got pulled over by Florida Fish & Wildlife for a routine check of life jackets, flares, fish measurements, full sweep. All good though, and shoutout to the FWC team for keeping it professional and respectful. Always good to be reminded to stay sharp on regs, especially after a trip like this. The ocean gives a lot gotta respect it back. #ReefCheefs #BiminiRun #Spearfishing #DeepDrop #FWC #OceanVibes #SwimWithDolphins #BoatLife
