✨ And just like that… the Westfield Local Heroes season comes to an end ❤️🤍❤️

But before we close this chapter, we need to say one BIG FA’AFETAI LAVA to every single person who stopped, voted, shared, encouraged, tagged, messaged and backed @elizabethfaalili 🫶🏽

You didn’t just cast a vote.
You helped shine a light on the work we do for our Pasifika families navigating cancer — and reminded us that our community sees us 🥹

Being part of Westfield Local Heroes has been such a special journey, and whatever happens next… we’re already grateful ❤️

Now for the part you’ve been waiting for 👀
🏆 The results will be announced 20 October

So if you wanna know how this story ends…
stay close. Until then... thank you, thank you, thank you, aiga. We couldn’t do this without you.

POV: you came to the shops and left knowing a little more about Taime 🫶🏽✨

Vinaka vakalevu to everyone who stopped for a talanoa, asked “what do you guys do?”, shared your own cancer story or simply took the time to connect with us... we see you, and we appreciate you 🫶🏾

And @westfieldmanukau Thank you for giving Taime the kind of platform that goes beyond a potential grant. More people now know we exist. More people know where to turn. And honestly… THAT is what truly matters ❤️‍🩹

September always feels heavy... a month stacked with cancer awareness campaigns.
Prostate. Childhood. Thyroid. So many illnesses touching our aiga, our famili, all at once.

This time, we’re turning our attention to Thyroid Cancer. A cancer that often hides in plain sight. Sitting quietly in the neck, the thyroid controls energy, mood, metabolism… and when something goes wrong, the signs can be subtle, easy to miss, or brushed off as stress.

In 2026, we’re asking our communities to stay alert.
Fatigue that doesn’t go away.
Changes in weight.
A lump in the neck.
A voice that suddenly shifts.

If you notice something, make an appointment to see your Doctor.

Some of the most meaningful moments from our Westfield Local Heroes activation were about the people we met ❤️🤍❤️ To every shopper who stopped, asked about our story, listened to ours and then trusted us with your own stories of how cancer has touched your life 🫶🏾 Thank You. Those conversations reminded us why being seen matters.

Thank You @westfieldmanukau for creating more than an opportunity for funding. You’ve given Taime a space, a platform and a chance to reach Pasifika people who may never have known we existed. So they know that if cancer ever touches their fāmili, there is a place for them.

Voting ends tomorrow, you still have time to Vote 🗳

YOU VOTED. WE FELT IT 🧡

Ngā mihi to every single person who dropped a token for Taime 🫶🏽

Every vote = another little reminder that our community sees us, backs us, and believes in what we’re building.

Fa’afetai tele lava to Aiga Energy Ltd and Kennerley Retail Investments for selecting Taime for this year’s campaign. We are blessed by you.

From the token drops, to the reposts, the “I voted for Taime!” messages and everything in between, y'all really did come through 🧡

What is Uterine Cancer? This month draws our attention to it again.

Uterine Cancer starts in the lining of the womb and can affect women of all ages... even young girls. Some are showing symptoms as early as intermediate school age.

Will you help us spread the word? ⏩️

When our families know the signs and risks, our girls can seek help sooner and feel supported through it.

Awareness saves lives.

Knowledge strengthens our famili.
