Thank you to all who came out and spent such a wonderful afternoon together in the park! It was such a joyful experience and I’m so glad you all made it happen.

I must send a huge THANK YOU to @bencjazz , @marcelinofelicianojazz and @brandonmccune for your help and support in making this happen. I truly couldn’t have done it without you.

I also send thanks to the folks in my building who lent me coolers and wagons, thank you 🙏🏼 @_boogienevahswitch

I hope this was the first of many. I hope we can continue to build community and spend quality time together.

CUTTING TOO HARD IS KILLING YOUR PROGRESS 🚨

A lot of people tend to cut their calories and carbs way too aggressively when trying to lose fat, putting their bodies into survival mode, quite literally... Then they wonder why they’re hitting a wall and unable to lose weight.

Metabolic adaption is your body’s response to make sure you stay alive. It adjusts to your strict caloric deficit, which means you stop making progress in terms of fat loss and your body gets used to operating using very little energy.

When Michael approached me, I was very honest with him and explained that he needed to eat more in order to be able to reverse this situation. I explained that it was going to be a temporary setback, but that it would pay off immensely in the future.

He fully trusted me and embarked on the challenging task of reprogramming his metabolism. The goal was to gradually make him able to eat more and improve his body composition at the same time. It wasn’t an easy or overnight process, but as you can see, he’s now leaner than ever and ready to solely focus on adding muscle tissue to his physique.

He achieved all of this naturally, without any TRT or PEDs. He understood the importance of nutrition, trained hard and the result speak for itself.

Congratulations, Michael! I’m so proud of you!! 🏆

Acts Church spent Christmas morning as Santa! 🎅🏾 🎄 This year established our first annual partnership with Angel Tree who helps to provide gifts to children whose parents are incarcerated.

One of our values is justice and we’ve seen God move us toward doing for those affected by the prison system through @cleanslateny and @prisonfellowship. We can’t wait to see more people free, full and forgiven through Christ.
