Second time at @greatlakesstrongestman was a huge success! Had a blast with everyone from @_detroitmuscle_ and others from around the state, was fun competing with ppl I train with weekly! @gingerback_gorilla knows how to put on a great show! Ended up in 1st in the Pro division after a tough battle all day, will talk about the events in upcoming posts. Wanna shout out @jakewebbstrongman and @michael_eerdmans for being on the podium with me and pushing me all day. Big shoutout to Katherine for being the best wife, helping me through training and doing the little things for me like helping me meal prep. She’s great on game day helping me get ready and reminding me to get salts and carbs between events lol. Also to @paul.d.mouser and @therealvikingperformance for getting me ready at these comps and getting me to strengths and places I couldn’t have imagined when I started! And to @_detroitmuscle_ and the great group of ppl there for all the pushing in training and just making the time there enjoyable! @cryptidstrength: get awesome cryptid inspired shirts with TNT10 Coaching by @paul.d.mouser @therealvikingperformance Gym: @_detroitmuscle_ @obsidian_ammonia code: TNT15 #Strongman #StayCurious #gym #fitness #CryptidStrength

First heavy viking day since ER visit. First time trying 227ish. Body felt fine but my setup felt a little hairball. Can't fit anymore weight on, viking handle was only partially connected to the barbell. Feeling good fro GLSM now I just have to worry about conan's wheel and yoke!
