My brother David and I have always known that one day we would have to face losing our Dad, but nothing really prepares you for it.

Sadly, our Dad, Alan Porter, passed away on Sunday, August 30th.

Although his health had been failing, his passing was unexpected and we are still coming to terms with the fact that he is no longer here.

Dad was a huge part of our lives. He was someone we could always rely on for his advice, support and love. He was our Dad, our hero and our best friend.

It is difficult to imagine life without him, and we know we will miss him every day. But we are grateful for all the years we had together, the memories we shared and everything he did for us.

We will forever love him and remember him.

Any close family and friends wishing to attend Dad’s funeral, please message me.
