We’re excited to welcome Michael Germer! 🎻

As a prize-winner in Singapore International violin competition earlier this year, Michael Germer is now recognized as one of the foremost talents in his generation. In 2020 he won several awards including the Prize for best interpretation of Paganini at the Khatchaturian international competition. He already had several major prizes in his pocket and made his debut in the Danish Radio concert hall in 2021; consequently, he plays with leading orchestras and conductors. He is a passionate chamber musician, and the list of collaborators includes many musicians that we are familiar with, including Andreas Brantelid, Adrien La Marca, Johan Dalene, Polina Leschenko, and Yura Lee. He plays on a 1765 Guadagnini and a 1721 Montagnana, lent to him by the Augustinus foundation and the Rin Collection.

Perhaps these photos can capture at least a glimpse of the magic we experienced together last night in Solti Hall. ✨
Alongside the music of Bach, Mozart, and Bartók, the theatrical performance Above and Below, featuring Hanna Kelemen, Dayton Mungai, and Jules Bilger, brought an extraordinary new dimension to the evening.
Thank you for sharing these unforgettable moments with us. 💙🎻
