Just sold. Unit 602 at Horizon Hurstville.

Two bed, two bath, parking, 101 m² total.

Why now: Hurstville units still sit under the Sydney median, and Horizon is finished and settled. You walk through a real home, not a floor plan, and you buy before the market catches up.

Why with us: we have taken buyers through this building from the first plan to keys in hand. We know every apartment in it.

Limited apartments remain. Talk to our team.

Settlement and Key Collection day at Horizon Hurstville.

Yesterday, around 130+ buyers who purchased at Horizon got their chance to settle. The energy in the room was unbelievable.

In an otherwise quiet market where sales are hard to come by, Horizon has been a real success story.

LINK CEO Michael Klevansky thanked the team at Masscon, and LINK’s own Yen, Sandra and Amy, who have done an incredible job. Charlie, Steve, Alex, Dennis, and everyone who came on the journey and trusted in us. Couldn’t have done it without you.

Don’t write off a south facing apartment.

Most buyers choosing off the plan pick an aspect off a floor plan. North good, south bad, decision made.

But a floor plan can’t show you a view. This apartment faces south and has one of the most glamorous outlooks in Sydney.

Aspect matters. It just isn’t the only thing that matters, and you won’t know which apartments break the rule until someone walks you through them.

Thinking of buying? Come out and see it for yourself.

Sydney needs 27,000 apartments a year. It’s building 12,300.

That gap isn’t closing any time soon, and prices are forecast to rise 28% by 2030.

Here’s the part most people miss. Buy off the plan and your price is locked at exchange, not at completion. You buy into today’s market and settle into the one that’s coming.

Wait twelve months and you pay for that growth instead of owning it.

Horizon Hurstville is one of the few that’s already here. Buyers have walked through their homes with pre-settlement inspection. If you’d like to know what’s still available, talk to our team.

I was playing Monopoly Deal with my six-year-old the other night, and it hit me.

They understood the game in five minutes. Collect cash, buy property, build a house, add a hotel, charge rent. Everyone wins. The tenant gets a home that suits them, and the investor earns a fair return.

Property is Australia’s favourite wealth game. But lately, the rules keep changing mid-game.

People had been saving. They had a plan. Now they’re frozen. Fewer are investing, renters are running out of options, and buyers are waiting.

A six-year-old can follow the rules of property. Most adults can’t follow them today.

Do you agree? Tell me in the comments. 👇

The cash rate is up again. 4.60%.

The RBA lifted rates another 0.25% today, the fourth rise this year.

If you’re buying off the plan, your price is locked at exchange, not at completion. A deposit secures it and the balance isn’t due until settlement, usually a year or more away.

And every headline like this thins out the competition.

A recap of pre-settlement inspection day at Horizon Hurstville.

Buyers walked through their homes for the first time, with our team and our specialists on site so questions got answered in the room rather than after the keys were handed over.

Thanks to everyone who came through, and to @theonecollection__ and @masscon_group.

This is what buying off the plan should look like. You’re not just buying a floor plan, you’re buying the people who walk it with you.

LINK CEO Michael Klevansky on the government’s latest immigration changes.

Visas are stalling, the working holiday visa looks set to get harder, and there’s little clarity for the families and businesses relying on them. Michael’s question is whether Canberra has a clear picture of what’s happening on the ground.

His view: build the program around the skills Australia actually needs. Carpenters, electricians and plumbers to deliver the homes we’re short of. Nannies, au pairs and hospitality staff to keep families and businesses running.

Watch the full video to hear Michael’s take.
