Save Bristol Bay. Today is the last day to sign the petition to prevent the pebble mine, saving this amazing area and the grizzlies and salmon that call it home. But more than that, this is a place families come together to access wilderness and be together. I wouldn’t trade that time with my family for anything in the world, and nobody should have to - especially for a mine. Go to @savebristolbay and sign the petition, 30 seconds of your day could save this incredible place forever. ———————————————————————————

Watching @jimmythegiantuk newest video brought back hardddd nostalgia from my first visit to the UK with @currfer + @michaelryanclark + Dustin

Here we met @cyclist_91 who showed us the entire city - all the legendary spots. We all had our first beer (we were all sub 21) at the pub around Vauxhall, and then went to what was such a culture shock of a training area compared to our New England homes.
We spent that whole week training, drinking beer in the streets and just meshing with the community that was sooo large at the time.
We even got chased from Vauxhall Estate by a massive mob after they discovered us on their roofs.

They were different times in the parkour world, gold ones we didn't know we were in at the time. I feel a return back to this time during lockdown where people just want to be with other people and adventure again.
I have some really fun ideas for helping bring the New England community back to that place and can't wait to see how we grow !

Words by @callieveelenturf: “Sometimes dreams come true. I received a grant from the National Geographic Society to head to Punta Coco, Isla del Rey to study nesting habitat, human use and fisheries bycatch of sea turtles in the Pearl Islands Archipelago! I will be in Panama until at least March with the incredible @felipebakerp, who has worked in sea turtle conservation for the past 10 years.”⁣⁣

“When I follow my inner compass and try to live in line with the fire of purpose I feel inside, life itself seems to have a heightened energy and be self propelling. Don’t let anyone tell you what you are and are not capable of. People will try, but only you can decide.” 📸:@michaelryanclark ⁣

The powerful call of the humpback whale fills our oceans in a way our species will never understand.

A Voice Above Nature explores the surface of the seas in a way never seen before to reveal a not-so-silent-killer.

Last summer @annieemoir and I put some sarsaparilla on an amp then played whale calls and noise pollution through it to see what would happen.

The results ended up in her documentary @avoiceabovenature which won best student and emerging film at @jacksonwildorg last week.

Massive congrats again to Annie, thanks to @domjohn_dop for making the cymatics looks so great and @michaelryanclark for his beautiful camera work in Iceland.

The film heads out on tour around the UK as part of @wilderlandfest next week.

So many people helped me make a film that portrays noise pollution in such a unique way so thank you @dan_pollard_ & @michaelryanclark for your unbelievable help! @nicola_faye for your mentorship, guidance and kindness and of course @uwebristol MA Wildlife Filmmaking for the opportunity in the first place!

Andvari is back on schedule! We are proud to invite you on board our silent electric boat again. 🌿⁣
⁣
Did you know that Andvari is an old Norse name meaning “a gentle breeze that glides silently through the air”? It fits perfectly as Advari is the fleet’s second silent electric boat. ⛵️⁣
