What if the behaviors you judge most harshly in yourself… actually make sense?

In our latest podcast episode, Michael McRay shared a framework called “the case of the naturallys.”

Naturally you shut down.
Naturally you overwork.
Naturally you avoid intimacy.
Naturally you people-please.

Not because you’re broken.
But because your nervous system adapted to a story it once needed to survive.

That doesn’t remove responsibility.
But it does remove shame.

And shame has never been the thing that heals us. @michaeltmcray

Last Wednesday, we stepped into the wild.

Chaos to Wild wasn’t a traditional TED experience. It was a room full of people navigating change together.

Through story, music, reflection, and embodied presence, we explored what happens when the version of you that used to exist… doesn’t anymore.

@michaeltmcray reminded us that chaos isn’t failure — it’s formation.
@katiepruittmusic gave language to the in-between through song.
@thelaurenrussell grounded us back into our bodies — reminding us to feel what we’ve been pushing away.

If you were there, tell us:
What did the wild reveal to you?

And if you missed it — this is what the TEDxNashville membership is becoming.
A place to come curious. And leave connected.

More gatherings soon.
