All she wants in life is to be a mom.

Newly divorced and still struggling with her pregnancy losses and failed marriage, Angela Sutton leaves L.A. to return to her hometown Grainau, Germany where she assists her Aunt Terese in running the family bakery. One day, the famous Hollywood actor, Mason Glade, whom Angela has had a major crush on, enters the bakery. Angela can’t believe her eyes. What is he doing in her sleepy Alpine village? Is he shooting a movie? What Angela does know is that Mason has two young children with his estranged, alcoholic wife, Camila.

All he wants in life is for his two young children to have a loving mom.

Mason Glade is a simple man who wants a simple life with a warm, loving wife and a mother for his two children. Sure, he’s a famous Hollywood actor and well-loved, but he’s tired of his estranged, alcoholic wife, Camila, being plastered in every tabloid magazine. It’s embarrassing for him, but mostly for his two young kids whom they share together. When Camila enters rehab, Mason packs up his kids and their nanny and heads to Grainau, Germany, a small village in the Bavarian alps. There he meets and falls for a beautiful German girl, Angela, who works at her aunt’s bakery. Will he divorce Camila and pursue Angela or is he going to give Camila one last try?

How lucky am I to be surrounded by the most beautiful souls in this community. A few weeks ago, Michele reached out about my interest in her book. While I am not completed yet, because life is lifing, I do want to shout her out. Review to come very soon.

She has been nothing short of amazing in checking on me while I navigate life. As an author, she does not need to check on me as an individual, but she has been a sweet soul and I’m thankful.

Book besties, please take some time to add her book to your TBR. I will include the photo of it in the next slide.

This is such a sweet romance. Hallmark vibes mixed with humor and drama! Oh the drama!!

My heart broke for Angela throughout the majority of this. Shes had to go through so much heartache. Mason ... Oh mason .... He aggravated me at times but at the same time his entire situation/ scenerio was so incredibly realistic. My mouth definitely dropped open a few times and I'm screaming "no he didn't....." "He did!!!" 😂 I was rooting for them the whole time but their situation is messy. Really messy. Which is what makes it so raw and realistic.

This story is filled with hope, even when life seems like it's at the worst point and you're just like why? Why me? But this had me hoping for their HEA. Hoping that they could work through every obstacle and every speed bump. (Those speed bumps were doozies.....)

I absolutely loved the overall feel of this. Small town, everyone's close. All the characters were amazing and you could feel their bond through reading. Oma and Opa 😍 my heart 🖤 and the HUMOR especially talking with the author and knowing a couple fun true facts about what inspired a couple scenes in this novel. Oh my goodness so funny!

This is a super sweet, emotional, cozy read and I highly recommend. I'm looking forward to seeing what else this author writes!

💗 Angela & Mason felt like fleshed out and genuinely unique characters in this tale of love, family, and finding ones self as life changes. I absolutely adored the setting of Grainau, Germany 🇩🇪 and Angela's aunt's cozy bakery and the slow burn that is this love story.
