"...once you have tasted flight, you will walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward, for there you have been and there you long to return." - Leonardo DaVinci ✈️ I love this quote!! 💛 I hear a lot of people say that they feel the most relaxed or “at peace” at the beach...for me, it has always been high places - mountain tops, parasailing, rooftops - anywhere up high. It's so quiet, peaceful, and serene. I’ve been blessed to have had some fun opportunities over the years to not only pilot small planes myself, but to share that love of flying with both of my boys, who have piloted planes several times themselves! 💙

With all that's been going on the past several months (lots of health battles), I find myself daydreaming a lot about being on top of a mountain, flying a plane, or skydiving - mostly skydiving, haha!! Jumping 14,000 feet from a plane (free falling at 120 mph until the parachute was opened) was fun, exciting, exhilarating - just amazing!! But it was also one of the most peaceful experiences ever and I truly felt so at peace and completely relaxed - so physically close to God. I could do it over and over again!! For now, I guess I'll look at my flying & skydiving pics and find a nice, peaceful spot on my roof! 😉 #flying #skydiving #memories #myboys #mylittlepilots #peaceful #aviation #pilot #mommasboys #wareagle

I don’t usually do this on social media, but I’m gonna ask everyone to stop and take a minute to pray for my Aunt Michelle. She’s having an uncommon surgery in a few days and I am asking all the prayer warriors out there to ask for protection over her and guidance for the surgeons. I have full faith that God is with her and the surgeons every second of the way, and if anyone is strong enough to make it through this it’s her!! But I also still believe in the power of prayer, so please say a prayer for her. Aunt Michelle, you’ll be eating your weight in chocolate with me at the dessert table in no time. I LOVE YOU!

64. I love you. For better or for worse. For richer or poorer. Forever. I love you because we're imperfectly perfect. Our story isn't always rainbows and sunshine. Sometimes there's clouds. But this picture is a great representation of us. With the {Son} at the center. We may face clouds and nasty storms. But always know that He shines through. Always. In 64 days, I get to proclaim always and forever to the world, and I can't wait. ☺️❤️
