We had been looking for a name that perfectly encompasses what we believe in and stand for; that we are ONE. We are not separate from each other. Through our differences, cultures, borders, we still share the same human experience. ♾️ That compassion and love for one another reigns above everything else.

Hamwe, the Kikuyu and Kinyarwanda word for together, fit so well into our ethos. 😊

Dance, to me, is an inward journey.

It is where instinct meets discipline, where silence becomes movement, and where what I cannot always explain finds a way to speak through my body.

The more I dance, the more I understand that not every feeling needs to become an answer. Sometimes it is simply an invitation to listen deeper.

Dance has taught me to trust intuition, but also to question it. To create from what I feel, while remaining humble enough to be guided by something greater than myself.

Perhaps this is what movement means to me: **not just making the invisible visible, but learning to listen to what moves within me.**

And maybe, in the deepest sense, every movement is a way of returning inward. 🟡

Born from the themes explored in WANGU , the spin off WANGU: STORIES NEVER TOLD created by @bellavinarts and written by @cvndysoul , takes those questions of love, vulnerability, communication and connection into the everyday.
