Black History Month Spotlight | The First Anthology 🖤

Before BFF Publishing House became a movement, it was a dream.

And in 2018, my sorority linesisters trusted me to bring that dream to life through our first children’s anthology, The Dream in Me.

This book introduced readers to four young dreamers navigating unfamiliar challenges while refusing to give up on their goals.

Art.
Dance.
Entrepreneurship.
Music.
Writing.
Athletics.

Each story reminds us that when your dream is bigger than your fear, success becomes possible.

But beyond the pages, this book represents something even greater.

It represents sisterhood.
It represents belief.
It represents women who said “yes” before there was a track record.

The Dream in Me was more than an anthology — it was proof that BFF Publishing House could bring multiple voices together into one powerful message for children and families.

It became a conversational tool for parents and educators.
A reminder to dream boldly.
A call to move from vision to action.

To my linesisters — thank you for allowing me to publish our first anthology. You were part of the foundation. You helped make the dream tangible.

You are part of our beginning.
You are part of our growth.
You are part of our Black history.
